I'm trying to create an adventure map using Forge mods and right off the bat I set the game rule doMobLoot to false, this way players don't receive drops that they aren't supposed to get. The only problem is that some of the other Forge mods that add drops to mobs still get through. I assume this is because they use their own system for item drops. I've checked the config files for many of the mods and found that drop chances can be set to 0 to prevent this. Unfortunately, Not all developers add this setting. I was wondering if it is possible to create a mod with settings for multiplayer Forge to override mod loot in a workaround method. The catch with this is that I'm using another mod (CustomNpcs) to create the mobs who drop items that I do want players to have. Perhaps a mod that prevents certain item drops to be prevented would work? If there is already a workaround for the same issue please direct me to it. I haven't been able to find anything myself, after searching for a while. If this is not possible, should I just go ahead and ask the developers to add a setting that disables drops? That would be a last resort option, as I do not wish to wait for developers to release new versions. If needed, I could write out which item drops I want to prevent and which mods they come from (or even a full list of mods I'm using, if need be).
