so I'm thinking custom trench coats made of leather iron gold or diamond for respective armor values that are then put on a special crafting bench where you can put designs on them. perhaps like paint

also i want them to have physics like the robes in advanced lightsabers without the splitting.
EDIT: there would also be respective slacks boots and fedoras also customizable

Main reason I'm requesting this is I've always had a thing for trench coats, and if you put one on your skin it splits, and for a guy with OCD that really bothers me. The customizability will make it likable for everyone, would be great for cosmetic armor mod if user as armor more op than diamond,but the problem is i am a really inexperienced coder which is why I'm requesting this

the armor hiding would be like the agents mod

the only difference from the agents is it wouldn't tint the armor so that it still remains completely customizable

I said its hard to program and I don't know a single line of java and obviously its hard to render it would require making animated 3D armor not many people can do that and then you add the fact that the animations need to be interactive with the environments physics thats a lot of code

All this mod really needs is a good modeler and a great programmer
I know its a challenge but I also Know it is doable

i would be happy to help make this in any way i could

then you'd go to the coat makers table with your coat and it would be like a skin editor and you can edit the colors to make it any coat you want.

I could do a little modelling

That would be very helpful please try and make them look as cloth like as possible to your abilities

the way you combine armor is like this

B=boots L=leggings C=chestplate H=helmet T=trenchcoat X=air

the coat goes in the chest slot and will have all of the armor values combined so it would be like wearing a full set while looking goooood
