I think a paper Mario mod would be cool. I have no clue what other people think about this idea but, post what you think
ordinary brick block
blue brick block
any other block (not going to go through all blocks in paper Mario.)
and any other sorry, I can't remember all names of everything.
Threw (throws blocks)
Thinner (I think that's his name) (makes you thin fit through iron bars etc.)
Hover (allows player to hover over spikes)
tiny (makes tiny)
pounder (makes you heavy allows ground pound)
etc, any more helpers I missed
If there is a mod like this (don't say Mario mod this mod idea is a paper Mario not Mario itself) then please tell me. also if it is annoying that I end the lists
so shortly then sorry I haven't played the game in a long time XD.

Doing news on Scott Cawthon's Shenanigans. one update at a time.
I have always loved Paper Mario, and it seems there is a simple mod already in existence. I will see if I can make at least the item and simple block portion of this mod, but I'm not that great at modeling and texturing. If someone could post the textures (and if possible even the Techne model files) to this thread, I would be able to create a full-fledged mod. The list of items in each Paper Mario is available on the online Super Mario Wiki, and it tends to be reliable on Paper Mario topics. Thank you KingDoesMC for the great idea. I will start ASAP!
Wow! This thread has a lot of help! Thank you!
I have located a site with the list of items from the N64 version of Paper Mario. The textures of the original game were about 25x25 (pixels), but of course, Minecraft and Forge only take 16x16 textures without modification. I was hoping someone could convert these textures without causing blurred edges or redraw a representation of the basic set.
I wonder... what exactly is the difference between Paper Mario and Super Mario, other than just textures?

Paper Mario, originally for Nintendo 64, was/is a role-playing-type of game, similar to the Pokemon games, but instead of having monsters as your battle tool, you had Mario himself. In "the field", you were a flat-textured piece of construction paper of Mario, and so were all the other characters. When you encountered an enemy, by touching it in the field, you could enter a "battle." You start with basic moves such as Jumping and using a Hammer (carried in the field as well for practical purposes). After the enemy's Heart Points (HP) went down, the enemy would die and leave behind Star Points (SP) which are like XP in Minecraft.
The Paper Mario franchise has changed drastically since then, in my opinion for worse due to the absence of a concretely good storyline.
I hope this clears things up a bit; if you are more interested, I recommend the Super Mario Wiki.
Nope you have any width and height of textures in 1.7+ i think I have a 4x4 texture pack.(ps it was painful to use)
I Have even had 15x15 texture packs. You can use the original game textures
From my knowledge
Thank you ZionsAllianceGaming for that tip! I found out though that there is a warning for "Mip Levels limited from 4 to 0" by using a 25x25 texture. It doesn't affect most players, but if a more experienced developer would need MipMap Levels alterable, I would need to resize each one. If you think I should NOT use the original 25x25 textures, please give me a thumbs down on the matter.
I am so terribly sorry. For those who have been following this thread in hopes of a new mod, I regret to say that I have found a mod made with much greater skill than I have time to acquire. As a full-time student, I do not have time to recreate a mod. A modder under the username Paper97 has posted a mod for Minecraft 1.6.4 with very similar characteristics to the mod I have worked on.
Please follow the following spoiler links to get to the different classes I have created. This was created for a version of Forge 1.8; note that nested spoilers represent package structure.
