How can you be bored when walking upside down, 100 blocks in the air?
But the mod seems to have been dying out recently without word from the author... or at least from what I've been able to translate...
But anywho, I'm here to request/suggest a remade or enhanced version of this mod for Minecraft 1.7.10. Not a copy, but the same function and idea. Mainly just the Gravity Core block and the Anti-gravity wall plating thingies. Models and textures of your own, or even a complete overhaul should be included, making it distinguishable from the original linked above.
A small and fun mod like this should have great potential to be widely noticed when published on a forum such as this one. ... plus, you'll have my eternal gratitude... who could resist that?
I guess no one wants it... thats why no one is making another one... what a shame. this had so much potential...
Probably not too many people have heard of it...because its page isn't in English, and because it's disallowed from being in modpacks. It's also probably pretty hard to actually program. I know the original StarMiner had a few awkward bugs still (can't aim bows if you're tilted, and a few mod conflicts).
I love this mod, too. It's so cool to be able to make a space-efficient Escher-style base (even if it does break the "illusion" because blocks are shaded brighter on the top in MineCraft...)
Gravity features might be in Galacticraft's planned features for the future, I'm not sure. Still, I too would love to see its capabilities modernized in a new standalone mod.
The FakeRotator is used to place blocks in the direction gravity has put you in. Standing upside down use the fakerotator to place down grass upside down. Or torches. Etc. Only places blocks in your hotbar closest to slot 1. Also makes them appear they are right side up in their look towards light (acts like there is a sun above them even if upside down).
This is in reply to BurpyTheSlug
