I'm thinking of making a mod centered around the Pocket God game on Facebook. Pygmies would be spawned in via a special player item, which will have a moderately expensive recipe. The player can then grace(bless) or kill the pygmies in various ways. They drop sacrifice coins when killed and the coins stack up similar to Tale of Kingdoms. The player can then buy different tools/powers for killing/blessing the pygmies. Gods will spawn and can only be killed if the required number of pygmies is killed. Their idols give 2x the experience for that particular sacrifice and increase the multiplier +1 for each level up to 5; however the number of required sacrifices goes up for each level.

Notch the Swordmaster:
Spawns when too many pygmies are killed with a sword.
Beast of the Abyss:
Spawns when too many pygmies are sacrificed via drowning.
