Modpack creators will know this problem, players cannot seem to find their crash reports and therefor will scream
"Modpax no w0rkz halp!!1!"
Some examples:
My proposal is a mod that will automatically collect relevant crash data when Minecraft crashes and send it to a specified E-mail address.
This would greatly help both the modpack creator and the player because the creator just has to look up the player's crash log and tell him why it was crashing in the first place.
No more tedious conversation to explain where the player can find the crash log and how to upload it to Pastebin, you can give good support immediately!
Here is what the E-mail could look like:
The minecraft username will appear in the message's topic, as well as the time and date of the crash (Pulled from the crash log).
The body of the message will simply have the contents of the crash log. Alternatively the crash log could be sent along as an attachment.
The modpack creator should be able to configure the Email address in the config file, also an option to disable the mod might be helpful.
