First, before this post starts, I will say this:I SWEAR TO GOD IF ANYONE EVEN SO MUCH AS THINKS ABOUT MENTIONING THE WITHER AS BEING THE NETHER BOSS MOB IMA CREEPER THE CRAP OUTTA YOU AND YOUR HOUSE IRL!
(In the future, I may post pictures of what I had in mind)
General (Applies to all bosses except Wither):
All bosses have the same health
All bosses drop an origin portal key for their respective dimensions
All bosses drop the same amount of xp upon death
All bosses will not (intentionally) attack mobs of their own dimension, and vice versa
All bosses will only spawn once per world in their respective dimension, except in the Origin, (Origin is WIP idea, not sure exactly what should be in it.)
All bosses can still hurt the wither with their ranged attacks, even if the wither is in "armour mode"
All bosses, when moving, can only destroy soft objects (such as dirt, sand etc.) trees, wood, leaves, and glass like materials (like glass and glowstone) This includes the Ender Dragon
All creatures (that can attack) will prefer attacking creatures/bosses from another Dimension rather that a player, unless the player attacks them (i.e. Zombies would prefer to attack Enderman over players/villagers).
All creatures would prefer to attack other creatures from other dimensions, as oppose to attacking a boss from that dimension.
Nether Wolf:
SPAWN/BIOME INFO:
This new boss for the nether (called Nether Wolf) should Naturally spawn in the nether, obviously. Because of how the nether is generated, to make this, were gonna have to make some slight adjustments. Spawning randomly within a 500 block radius from 0,0, a 30x30x50 large cage will spawn with the boss in it (the cage itself should be a biome called Nether cage or something, just to stop my OCD, cause all of the other bosses have its own biome.) This cage will have a bedrock floor and ceiling, and Iron bars for walls.
CREATURE DESCRIPTION:
Pictures:
I pretty much imagined this (drawn by me) with this skin (not drawn by me):
If anyone can make a model so I can post what it would like like in minecraft, that would be appreciated, and you will be given credit.
Spawning inside, a large, mammal like creature, but made of Rock, with small glowing-with-lava crevices along the rocks. It will have a long tail, a wolf like head, but with a Parasaurolophus crest on its head. (look it up) It's legs will have both knees (frontwards and backwards) with frontwards on top. (this one is probably more of a visual, again, may post pictures soon.)
COMBAT INFO:
It will have the same amount of health as an ender dragon. Out of its mouth, it can shoot projectiles at 2 per second, but a maximum of 8 per round. Just before shooting, the mouth of the creature will open and the mouth will start getting a reddish fire-cast glow, gradually getting brighter for about 2 seconds. Once this starts, the Creature cannot cancel the attack for any reason other than death. Once aimed, the creature cannot aim away, and all the projectiles will hit roughly the same spot. These projectiles look like mini meteors. They have a flaming tail, and the actual rock looks like a piece of the Bosses body. A direct hit will ignite the player for 5 seconds, and deal 4 hearts in base damage if the target has no armour. Each meteor has 3/4 the power of tnt. After shooting, it requires a 6 second cooldown before using that attack again. However, It has two melee attacks. One is it lashes its tail at you, the other is it steps on you. If the tail hits you, it will deal 5 hearts if you have no armour on. The stepping attack will deal 7 hearts if you have no armour on. If there are multiple targets, with equal priority, it will alternate the targets.
DEATH INFO:
Upon death, this boss will freeze in place, and while roaring, the rocks will fall apart at the crevices, and every piece of rock will land on the floor, they will then disappear. The boss drops 3-5 nether stars, an origin portal key (Nether), (explained later) and enough xp to get from 0 to 78, just like the ender dragon.
TARGETING INFO:
This Boss will attack all non nether creatures. Priority list in increasing order. Passive Mobs - Neutral Mobs - players - Other bosses (will not attack withers or other nether wolves)
Peryton:
CREATURE DESCRIPTION:
Pictures:
I imagined this, but without the bird tail: (again, it would be great if someone can make a minecraft model of this, to properly post a picture of what it would look like in actual minecraft. You will get credit
The Overworld boss is a Peryton. (A winged deer) The Peryton will look angel like (Again, probably a visual) It will be white, with very light gray (near white) antlers. It is taller, but not as long, as the Nether Wolf.
SPAWN/BIOME INFO:
It will spawn in the Protective forest Which will spawn within a 750 block radius from 0,0. Trees/plants (that naturally spawn in the overworld) of all shape and sizes will spawn here. Every animal type can spawn here. This biome will be hard to navigate, because it will be it will be so cluttered with trees. The Peryton itself will spawn in a large 30x30x50 completely flat clearing.
PRIORITY EXCEPTION LIST:
The Peryton is a neutral boss, however, it can be agitated from more than just getting attacked. It will attack you, or anything else that has done these things within its line of sight:
Has broken at least one log or leaf (any method)
Has attacked any natural Overworld mobs (includes wolves attacking sheep) (not pigman, enderman etc.)
Has attacked the Peryton itself, or other nearby Perytons.
Does not belong in the overworld
If you or a mob has done any of these, and their or no mobs around with higher priority, you or the mob will be the lone target. If multiple players/mobs have done one or more of these things, the one that has done the most will be the lone target. This rule does not apply if their is a mob of greater priority in its line of sight.
COMBAT INFO:
Perytons have a weird range attack. Before attacking it will stand on its hind legs, roar, and with full force, slams it front legs into the ground. When this happens, if the player has not moved AS THE LEGS ARE COMING DOWN, the player will take 5 hearts if they are not wearing armour, and a tree will spawn right where the Peryton was targeting, possibly causing suffocation damage. Its other attack is to ram into you with its antlers, causing 8 hearts if there is no armour.
DEATH INFO:
Upon death, the Peryton will drop:
The XP that the other bosses drop
5 saplings of every kind of tree
Origin portal key (Overworld)
Its death animation will be it kneeling down, sitting on its hind legs with its head down, and melt into the terrain.
TARGETING INFO:
Priority level for attacking:
Hostile mobs of the overworld-Players who have agitated it-mobs of other dimensions-Wither-other boss mobs (excluding other Peryton)
Ender Dragon changes/improvements:
SPAWN:
Stays the same.
CREATURE DESCRIPTION:
Stays the same, except the Ender Dragon will increase in size about 3 times.
AI/OTHER STUFF IMPROVEMENT:
The Ender Dragon's AI will be changed so it will attempt to avoid blocks, so it doesn't look like it just intentionally and successfully rammed through an obsidian pillar. If it touches a block it can't destroy (see general for what it can/can't destroy) it will bounce off and fly away from that object. Also, according to the Wiki, only the player can actually hurt the ender dragon, even if other creatures attack it. That all creatures (that can attack) will be able to hurt it. The EnderDragon will also be able to land, and still do all of its attacks.
COMBAT:
First, If the Ender Dragon is targeting something, every Enderman within a 15 block radius of the Target(s) will be attack them.
The Ender Dragon will keep its ram attack, however it will gain a few others.
Ender Acid, and Ender balls, like from the Xbox version, will be added. (For those who don't know what that is, see this video Ender Acid moments are 7:50 (keep in mind he doesn't have to be hovering of the portal to use the ender acid) and 8:45:
)
Obviously, in PC, the portal is not pre spawned, so he doesn't do that thing where he hovers over the portal. That doesn't mean he can't use the ender acid. Ender Acid can be used at anytime, as well as Ender balls, which you cannot hit back at the Dragon.
Another "attack" that will be added is to batter the target with its wings. While doing this, The Ender Dragon cannot move, use Ender Acid or Ender Balls, or do any damage, but the Enderman still can. This move applies Slowness 4 for however long the Ender Dragon uses this move (cannot use for more than 4 seconds)
Until the Ender Dragon is dead, all Enderman in the overworld will attack you on sight.
DEATH INFO:
The Death Animation stays the same. Upon death, the Ender Dragon will drop the same amount of xp as usual, 144 ender pearls, Dragon Egg (now can be picked up be mining it with an iron pick or better) and an Origin Portal Key (Ender)
TARGETING INFO:
Priority Level:
You/creatures from other dimensions (will only attack you if there are creatures from other dimensions, but they all get targeted by Enderman and all get battered by wind attack)-Anything that attacked an Enderman (Players will get Higher Priority than creatures if both have attacked an enderman, but both are targeted by enderman and affected by wind attack))-Anything that attacked it (same priority rules apply when both players and other dimensional creatures attack it as the other priority levels)-Other Bosses
The Origin:
The Origin is a new dimension. To access the Origin you must place blocks in the following configuration:
(Does not matter what the floor material is made out of)
To activate, throw each key into the corresponding hole (Notice that Keys do not burn in lava, cannot be deleted in your inventory, do not despawn, and stay in your inventory when you die (configurable), players are the only things that can pick up keys, if a key is dropped into the void, a replacement will spawn in a random player's inventory.) Once the portal is activated, no blocks that are used for making the portal can be destroyed/pickedup/whatever.
The portal texture when activated looks is gray and it is very light around the edges and gradually gets darker until it is pitch black. This means that every block inside the portal has it's own texture depending on its position. It is animated, and looks like the brighter parts around the edges are getting pulled to the center, and it is getting darker as it goes along, while still maintain the brighter edges and the darker (It is hard to explain, but for those who do understand, it is possible, just very hard, to make it look like this is happening)
When you are finally in the Origin, You will spawn in the center of a large (3x the size of an average End island) island. The color of the sky is a really dark gray, and instead of a sun or moon there is a black hole. The Black hole does not move. The island is divided into three sides. On one, it looks like the Overworld, with trees, grass, dirt, and stone. A Peryton will spawn on the edge of that part of the territory, and an army of every hostile/neutral mobs will be on the territory, fighting the other dimensions' armies. On another 1/3 of the island, it will look like a nether, with netherrack, lava, soul sand, and netherbrick. A Nether wolf will spawn, a well as every mob from the Nether. Same goes for the End. When in the Origin, ALL MOBS will be NEUTRAL. The armies will constantly be fighting each other, but none of them can win on there own, the bosses will not attack anything unless attacked, and will tend to stay in the back of their territory. Here is the best part, you get to CHOOSE which side you want to be on. To pick which side you are on, you have to kill the Bosses from the other two dimensions. This will be hard, because attacking that boss means the boss will attack you and most (not all) of the mobs from that dimension will attack you. When you kill the other two bosses, they will drop their usual drops, but instead of a portal key, they will drop a return key of their dimension (i.e. Return Key Overworld). After you kill the two other bosses, you will have ONE LAST CHANCE to make a different choice, if you kill the last remaining boss, all three bosses will respawn, enabling you to make a different choice. If you want to stick with your decision, you put the two return keys into a 2x2 crafting, shapeless recipe. You will get a Return Portal Block. Once this is crafted, the remaining boss will become invincible. All mobs that doesn't belong to that dimension will despawn. Place it down and you will return to the dimension you chose to return, and you will spawn in the biome the boss spawned in. All mobs that naturally spawn in dimensions, even when spawned in other dimensions, will be passive. All mobs from other dimensions (that can attack) will automatically spawn/turn hostile, but tamable mobs can still be tamed, they're just attacking you while your taming them. The portal you used to get to the Origin will be deleted, and re created somewhere in the biome of the boss of the dimension you chose. The boss from the dimension you chose will will respawn, and become neutral. If you kill the boss again, it will drop normal drops, (except a portal key) and will also drop a working spawn egg of that Boss. (Two spawn eggs shall exist for each boss, one to spawn them normally in creative, and this way) Bosses spawned with the egg will be passive, have half the hearts they normally would, deal half the damage per attack, and will help you when attacked, in any dimension. They can be spawned in different dimensions, but cannot cross into other dimensions. When killed, a spawn egg appears in your inventory (cannot be dropped). Of course, this spawn egg spawns another one of those bosses.
The Origin, after completion of choosing a dimension to live in, will be its own mob farm. All mobs will naturally spawn here, and they will all be neutral (passive if they have no way of attacking.)
Im sorry to say but the wither is the nether boss... Here's the facts.
It takes wither skulls and soulsand to create one. Both are nether only items and the skeles are special to fortresses only.
It drops "Nether stars". I mean come on its in the name...
First off reading "General"
Line 1 All bosses have the same health
Line 5 All bosses have the same amount of health
Now the ender dragon is the same as everything else?
Alternating targets? That has a flaw right there.
Nethere Wolf
Wall of text. How is one expected to read this?
Peryton
Wall of text number two. Yet again, people are expected to read this?
It ends there.
Incomplete unreadable impossible to understand mod request/idea.
Please use some sort of formatting there's tools above the editor for a reason.
Also if you have things that are dependant on other parts of the mod and have nothing there how is one to compare it? You don't even say anything about it being a WIP idea until you get to those topics.

1: fixed the General information
2: Changed the WIP topics to say coming soon not in the spoiler
3: WIll update the "walls of text" to be formatted better when I have time
4: Watch out for creepers at your house. The Wither is not A nether boss. Is can be spawned in any biome, and it is far too easy to kill.
5: How is alternating targets a flaw?
Hope you get it all straightened out.
Also Alternating targets will make it easy to fight whatever has it. Just have bunches of the same level target and the likelihood of death is slim.

good point, I'll think of a way to fix that.
The formatting was a bug with minecraft forums, occasionally the post doesn't save in the smaller editor, and when that happens, if you open it in the bigger editor, all your returns/enters/whateveryouwannacallit gets deleted. all fixed
Anyway, new info is up for the Ender dragon and the Origin (still WIP though) and Formatting is done. Thanks for feedback.
Maybe you won't find a creeper in your house
I was hoping to see that creep and take him on in some fistacuffs!
Dang nice formatting. This could make for a fun mod (if its not too OP)
Also Remember configuration is loved by everyone!
Don't exactly know what you mean by "configuration is loved by everyone!" Maybe you can explain a bit further.
Thanks for the feedback. After looking through your profile, I see you are a modder. You don't have to, but care to make this mod?
If you have a hard time deciding on a feature or balance make it a config so people can edit it if they want. Makes everyone happy because then they can make it fit into their server or pack if they like it.
Also I can't make this sorry
Working with Forge Essentials preparing them for FE2. Plus im not that good...

Maybe you won't find a creeper in your house
Dang nice formatting. This could make for a fun mod (if its not too OP)
Also Remember configuration is loved by everyone!
Don't exactly know what you mean by "configuration is loved by everyone!" Maybe you can explain a bit further.
Thanks for the feedback. After looking through your profile, I see you are a modder. You don't have to, but care to make this mod?
Also I can't make this sorry
