Mummylander hasn't been online since June (his profile says May but his last post was in June, not sure why) so it might be time to find a new team. Also on June 9th he PM'd me that I could be the sound designer (I'll attach a screenshot later), but nothing really happened since then
Well I made this when I first started minecraft, pretty much, so lots of refining probably will be needed.
Anyways this is a idea that I put out for people to see, and use, so... if you do start working on it, I will look at the progress and give some suggestions, but for the most part, do whatever you want. I mean, you are doing this for free.
I have no experience in coding, so I'll take your world for it.
On the hut thing, instead of finding a branch to put a hut on, would it be easier if you made the hut a 'part' of the branch? Like, instead of looking for a branch to put a hut on, have a 'branch with hut' generate.
The canopy doesn't really need the entire top to be covered, just like 90% Enough that you'll be able to mostly walk around and build without having to bridge too many gaps, but it'll have a lot more holes to fall through then the ground. So sunlight should shine down a decent amount.
Of course, if they can reach the bottom without being blocked by branches and such is a different matter.
The nether could really really use a lot more work to fit with the rest. Maybe make the zombie pigmen naturally hostile?
When I first was writing down the idea, I guessed that some ideas might not be possible, but thought that it would be better to give out a idea and let people decide 'hey, it's not worth the effort' rather then not give a idea because it might not be possible.
Well, this idea seems to have gotten to a decent start at last, I'll be keeping a eye on things, but can't make heads or tails out of github or codes, so I'll probably be silent till the mod is out to play, then do a lot of playing and suggesting.
P.S I was under the impression that thanatos was the greek god of death. Hmm, I like it.
P.P.S Thanatos(death), and a forest of giant trees, so 'forest of death'? Now where have I heard that before?
