I've been attempting to translate this mod http://forum.minecraftuser.jp/viewtopic.php?t=5908 by Guriguri for a couple of weeks now, only finding enough resources through a different mod (Damage Indicators) To nickname the mobs, but there are tons of items and the actual names of the mobs left to translate which I would love to do but can't due to the names being encrypted in .class files from what I can tell.
Can anyone recommend a mod to change the names of items in-game or a tool to edit the actual names of the mod itself? I've tried MCreator and MCP and Eclipse but haven't had much luck as they all have trouble identifying the mod possibly because it's japanese or some other issue I'm not aware of.
bumping with pics from the mod. It's probably one of the best mods I've found for MC aesthetically besides Mo'Creatures, did great work matching the style of MC while retaining the iconic look of all the slimes, and they're ALL there: Slimes, She-Slimes, Metal Slimes, Stack Slimes, 8 stack Tower Slimes, King Slimes, Queen Slimes, Slime Knights...it goes on and on. There are hundreds of new mobs with unique animations and rare item drops that can be used to craft medicine that heal hearts on the spot, poison curing antidotes, defense seeds for instant resistance boost or just drop the aforementioned items themselves. One of the best drops has to be the miniature or full-sized statues which are rare but so rewarding and addictive to collect.
Hey, if the mod updates to 1.6.x or 1.7.x, you can just unzip the mod and edit its language files, or better, add a language pack which includes the mod's items in its mappings. But if it doesn't update, and remains stuck on 1.5.2, sorry, but I have no idea.
