Wait for them to update... People are so impatient.
It is kind of hard to remember recipes for mods that you haven't played with before. So, it's not really that he's impatient, but more that when your used to something then all of the sudden you don't have it, it can be a little frustrating.
Or when you're adding a whole new set of mods to your new 1.6.2 game, and they *each* add dozens (or hundreds!) of new recipes, and half the mod makers don't document their recipes... I was disturbed to find out how dependent I was on NEI to figure out how to make things in mods, and even more disturbed to find out there is no good Forge-compatible replacement for it. So I am sitting on my hands waiting for it and one other mod to be updated to play in my single-player world, or playing in the vanilla server I play on instead. Yes, my decision, but I want to get all the mod incompatibilities resolved before I start playing again and generating objects with possibly conflicting IDs.
I'm almost tempted to try writing a recipe guide mod myself, if I wasn't working full-time and already learning to mod working on an entirely different mod concept. Perhaps when I have the first one done.
