Maybe make a mod where you can breed villagers like cows or pigs. You breed with bread, you attract them to you with emeralds. I think it would be best to go with bread, but baked potatoe might be good too.
Also, make the type of villager the same as one of the two parents, with a small chance of being a random one unlike either of the two. (Kids often follow in their parent's foot steps, but sometimes try something new.) If you can add this part, try not to make the small chance too small, maybe like 5 to 10 percent.
Perhaps make it for one or two of the older versions (1.5.1 or lower). I haven't updated yet cause not all the mods I use have updated. I'm sure others haven't yet either.
I want to make a small market village, without having to make some large breeding station (which I can never seem to make work). It would also be nice to have more control over the type of villager, so if I wanted mostly librarians or priests, lets say, I could do so.
I'm sure several people get annoyed at how villagers get in their way sometimes, or they don't go where you want them to go. With them attracted to emeralds, you can lead them around all you want. Also, maybe the range the emeralds can attract villagers can be configurable, so you can attract an entire village, or a single villager more easily.
