All affinities automatically lock one one hits 100, so being a master of everything is impossible.
On thing I would really like to see is a biome that is unaffected by affinities for server areas so players couldn't mess with an area by changing the affinity. maybe make it a dimension only accessible with an admin/creative tool or something.
What if you made it an enchanted book? That way we could bind enchanted weapons.
It all depends on how I end up implementing binding. I'm kind of at a crossroads right now as to how I want to handle it.

Again, depends on how I implement binding - though I can say, the binding of enchanted weapons likely won't be a thing, because you can add components to binding shapes.
Maybe getting an enchant for binding and then cast a spell to bind what you want to the item?
What if the highest tier/level of magic required cooperation of a summoned entity. This could be anything from an ancient long dead archmage or anything else really. You have to craft some specific item (or one of a list of items) for the being, and in return are given an item used in the crafting of the spells.
Of course this could be extended to having the summoned mob attack if the donation is of insufficient quality and so forth.

Most of the stuff is very minecrafty. But the starting book of magictania isn't. One thing that should be changed is the spell book, compared to all the other items in the mod, it's just to non ars magica like. And again, are you going to change the way a spell looks in your hand?
