I don't know if there is a mod like this, but if there isn't there should be. Basically, the mod should generate terrain (houses, roads, landmarks, etc etc) directly from google earth(or maps) It would be VERy hard to do i bet, but it would be cool
you could locate YOUR house and it would be built to scale.
While cool, I don't think it's actually possible to do.
Google earth doesn't have everything in 3D, and it's certainly not to scale.
Google Earth is by definition to scale. It's a picture of the actual Earth, taken by satellites. It's not 3D, and it's almost certainly not possible to map it onto a Minecraft world, but it is to scale.

I'm just saying if you were to convert it, it wouldn't be to scale because of the formatting limitations.
Impossible due to a Minecraft limitation at it's own heart. The Minecraft world is flat (doesn't loop back around.) The Earth is a sphere (loops back around.)
But last time I checked, google Earth can give you 3d models of buildingsand it doesnt have to act like a sphere, it could be like google maps, where the earth is layed out flat

You've missed my point entirely though. Unless you're talking about taking chunks of the Earth and relaying them onto a Minecraft map it is impossible to get a truly to scale "Earth" as a Minecraft would does not flip back around when you reach the edge of a map (in a two dimensional sense of course)
It can work but its all gunna be flat... I spent a long time looking for something like what you want and google has made one but its flat.k2b6s9j your making it complicated.
