Yes Description of mod: So I been playing my minecraft world for about 3 days now, I have come across 6 diamonds and gold ores, redstone, about 20 iron ores, and about 64 coals along with 1 uranium and well I haven't seen any copper or tin ores. What I would like to be able to do is build a metal detector that can be upgraded and enchanted, the metal detector would make certain sounds depending on the rarity of the item, and with the computer craft and all the technological advances perhaps some kind of dialogue box could give you the percentage chance that a certain ore is around your area. The sound should be anywhere from faint, due to it being really deep down to loud if it is near you or the surface. I'm wondering if the copper or tin exists or if I went too far into the outlands and they don't reach that far. Anyways, I think it would be a fun little tool to have, upgrade, and work with. Name of Mod: S.S.Z.M (Stupidly Simple Zombie Mod) When do you want it done by?: A week, as it's pretty simple. There's my challenge to you. Forge? Forge if necessary, preferably no forge or modloader. Description of mod: I want the mod to:
1. Make zombies the only mobs to spawn.
2. Make zombies not burn in the day (but still only spawn at night/in the dark)
3. Make other varieties of zombies that have increased speed, health, and hit power.
4. Zombies can (very slowly) break wood and stone. Things that you want be added to the game: The three aforementioned zombie variants, and two weapons: a revolver and a shotgun. EDIT: I also want flash grenades to be added to disorient zombies when thrown. I want this to be all packed into a Zombie game mode that gives you three lives. Once you die three times, the world is deleted.
Anubite - An ore that can be mined up and replaced near a fort or house to repel zombies. Slightly rarer than diamonds. Appears identical to iron/gold/diamond ore but with purple veins.
If you can complete this by the twenty-fifth, I would be extremely happy. Make my Christmas!

To conclude an afterthought: The Perk-a-Cola (What are advantages (drinks in vending machines) for the player) and Pack-a-Punch (which improves weapons) Here the list (I can think of uses for the machines): -Juggernog (increased life) Speed-Cola (increases reload speed but is not useful here) -Quick Revive (revives faster allies and in singleplayer can revive yourself but is not useful here ) -Double Tap Double Tap Root Beer and Root Beer 2.0 (increased rate of fire and the 2.0 makes a bullet part in two but is not useful in here) -Stamin-Up (increases movement speed and resistance when running) -PhD Flopper (makes you immune to fall damage and explotion damage) -Deadshot Daiquiri (always points to the head but is not useful in here) -Mule Kick (you can carry three weapons but is not useful in here) -Tombstone Soda (for minecraft (could leave a chest to get your items when you die) -Who's Who (when you die reappear as a double to revive you, rare for minecraft)
Pack-A-Punch: It is a machine that improves weapons giving them more ammo, ammo capacity or giving extra effects

In a nutshell, the idea around what will mainly be developed is Deep-Space exploration on-top of a new revision of the famous mod-pack called Tekkit.
Keep in mind that this server isn't just your average Minecraft server. This is one that will set a new bar for future servers to come - a revolutionary server: with so much to offer to the already existing survival aspect and a whole new take on the adventure element of Minecraft. Hello. I am a total n00b at java so there is little way I would be able to make a mod this complex with my current programming knowledge. It will be a while until I will be able to enhance my java skills to a sufficient level, so I thought I might as well request this mod. I would like to see how you would make it so when I do learn java, I could have a point of reference if I would like to make something similar. I'm actually thoroughly surprized that someone hasn't actually made this mod or some form of it yet. Well, here goes...
Name of Mod: The Unarmed Combat Mod When do you want it done by?: 1 - 2 months Forge? Yes Description of mod: This would be a mod to greatly improve the unarmed combat mechanics of Minecraft single and multiplayer. I want the combat mechanics to be realistic. Being a mixed martial artist, I have a tendency to like games to have realism in their unarmed conflict. Pressing a certain key would enter the player into combat mode. In combat mode, players would have one foot slightly in front of the other, and would have both hands up by their face. Also, the mods moves would only be able to be done while in combat mode. By holding down, let's say the B key, players would protect their face making them more resilient by 50% to attacks. However, while blocking, the blocking player cannot attack at all. The right mouse would control the right arm, while the left would control the left arm. Clicking the mouse buttons would punch with the corresponding side. A punch to the head would do 2 hearts damage with a 5% chance to give blindness for 10 seconds. A punch to the stomach would do 1 heart damage with a 10% chance of nausea for 10 seconds. Punches to the legs do absolutely nothing. A punch to the groin would do 2.5 hearts with a 50% Chance to give slowness 2 and nausea for 15 seconds (ouch). However, punches to the groin also have a 100% chance to give the receiver of the strike strength 2 for 30 seconds. Pressing K would preform a roundhouse kick to where ever the player is looking. Roundhouse kicks are generally more powerful, but slower and easier to dodge than punches, and can only be done by one leg for the sake of simplicity. Roundhouse kicks to the leg would have a 20% chance to give your opponent slowness 2 for 5 seconds, while doing 1 heart damage. Roundhouse kicks to the body will knock back the receiver a block while doing 2 hearts damage. Roundhouse kicks to the head do 3 hearts damage with a 10% to give the receiver blindness and nausea for 10 seconds. Roundhouse kicks to the groin would do a whopping 4 hearts damage, while having a 75% chance to give the receiver slowness 3 and nausea for 20 seconds. There is a catch: The receiver will be totally enraged, and will be granted resistance 1 and strength 3 for 40 seconds. Holding K for 5 seconds will not execute a roundhouse kick, but rather a push kick. This will do no damage, but will knock back the victim 5 blocks. No matter where you kick with this one, it will do the same thing. Right before the kick is used, a loud "THIS, IS, SPARTA!!!" will be heard :D. Last but not least, chokes. Going behind a player with your cursor pointed towards them will execute a rear naked choke (haha yeah weird name, but effective). When being choked, the victim will emit choking noises, and by rapidly clicking their left mouse, can struggle and attempt to get away from the choke. If the victim clicks 30 times, the choke will be released and they will automatically turn around to face their opponent. In the first 10 seconds that the choke is held, nothing will happen except choking noises. The attacker can drag his victim around at the speed of walking on soul sand, and the victim cannot resist the movement until after the first 10 seconds. After 10 seconds pass, 1 heart damage is done per second, regardless of armor. The victim will be affected with blindness and weakness 2 after the first 10 seconds. If the choke is released or the victim escapes, blindness will immediately go away, but weakness 2 will linger for 5 more seconds. If the attacker attempts the choke while sneaking, it is more effective. The victim will have to press the mouse 50 times to escape if this happens. There are so many more things I could want to include, but you see how long just this is! I just would like to see what this would look like. Also, all of this is inspired off MMA. Look up MMA roundshouse kicks and punches as well as the rear naked choke if you don't know what they look like. Thank you for your time. To enter combat mode, one must press the C key. In combat mode, one foot is in front of the other and both of the players hands are in near the face, but not obscuring the view. All of the features of this mod will only be executable while in Combat Mode.
The left mouse will control the left hand while the right mouse will control the right. Punches are faster and weaker than kicks.
Punches to the:
Head: Do 2 hearts damage with a 5% to cause blindness for 10 seconds.
Body: Do 1 heart damage with a 10% chance of nausea for 10 seconds.
Groin: Do 2.5 hearts with a 50% Chance to give slowness 2 and nausea for 15 seconds. The victim will get strength 2 for 30 seconds.
Leg: Do nothing.
Roundhouse Kick- Tapping K will do a roundhouse kick at whatever your cursor is pointed towards. Kicks are stronger but slower than punches.
Roundhouse Kicks to the:
Head: Do 3 hearts damage with a 10% chance to give the receiver blindness and nausea for 10 seconds.
Body: Do 2 hearts damage while knocking the victim back a block.
Groin: Do 4 hearts damage with a 75% chance to give the receiver slowness 3 and nausea for 20 seconds. The victim with receive resistance 1 and strength 3 for 40 seconds.
Leg: Do 1 heart damage with a 20% chance to give your opponent slowness 2 for 5 seconds.
Push Kick- Holding down K for 5 seconds will unleash a kick. Before the kick is used, a loud, "THIS IS SPARTA!!!" will be heard coming from the attacker.
Push Kicks to the:
Anywhere: Will do no damage, but will push the victim back 5 blocks.
Rear Naked Choke- Going behind a player with your cursor pointed towards them will execute a rear naked choke. When being choked, the victim will emit choking noises, and by rapidly clicking their left mouse, can struggle and attempt to get away from the choke. If the victim clicks 30 times, the choke will be released and they will automatically turn around to face their opponent. In the first 10 seconds that the choke is held, nothing will happen except choking noises.
