Maybe there could be a neutral Van Helsing character. You can befriend him when you are human, but if you turn into a werewolf or vampire, he will hunt you, with silver bullets and wooden stakes.
To allow the player to be a werewolf for as much is as logically possible, it would be a good idea to have the werewolf transform every night instead of every full moon.
In addition, werewolves could receive buffs for times of a Blood Moon (which could occur randomly), while vampires could receive buffs for times of a Blood Night (also randomly occurring, but with red fog and red sky instead of a red moon).

I really like this idea. I've been looking for somethingl ike this for a long time. If there is so many ideas I don't know why someone hasn't come up with this yet.

This is a great idea but I have a question does the player look something like a normal wolf, will other mobs attack a.k.a the creeper, will you be a werewolf in the end were it is night all the time, and will you become a werewolf in the nether where it never becomes night.
ok thats a good idea i think you could make many different wolfs depending on that the werewolf style . the wolfs will help you and the other mobs dont attack you but dont help you in the end I think if you want with a control like F and in the nether equal to the end

Vampires: Can turn into bats but can not fly that high or in the sun. Get food from killing animals. Friends with skeletons and zombies.
Werewolves: Can turn into angry wolf at full moon phase. Red vision and speed. A little bigger than normal wolf. During transformation you will loose health and have nasausa. Allies with spider and Animals.
It would be cool if there where rare villages with normal people with a few advanced building,farms,ect.
Also a few maybe werewolves or vampires would be in the village. Also if the villagers gound out that you were a vamp or were they would try to kill you...

Mabye when your a werewolf/vampire you dont get your normal hotbar or invintory instead of a sword or a bow your hot bar cant be changed an you get like the bite tool or the scrath tool or you get to type commands to say your wolf army find and attack the nearist village. SHEEP ATTACK
djgyatados what he means by this is that when you turn into a were wolf the hotbar on the screen changes into something only has abilitys that only the were wolf can use and the same goes for the vampire

This is a very nice idea, I like how it doesn't have a bunch of other complicated functions and items along with the point of the mod. However, is the vampire going to be like a dracula or a vampire from skyrim. the vampires from skyrim are much cooler and more destructive.
The vampire part is a little pathetic. It'd make more sense if you gained the same amount of health from the NPC you attack, or at least give them the wither effect, Also, if it lasted during the day as well and you'd burst into flames in the sunlight, that'd be better than treating it so similar to the werewolf.
I really think this is good idea but maybe you could turn in to a werewolf when you have enough rage, blood lust, other things.....
If a person truns in to a werewolf does it just change there skin or there entire modle like when using the morph mod?
i have always wanted something like this. Maybe as a vampire you can gain skills where you don't take damage during the day or instead of taking damage you can potion effects like weakness. also would it be possible for when you play in multiplayer other people can infect you.😄
