Consider this if you wish to implement anything similar to, like or as this suggestion.
A ) In space, there is no terminal velocity
B ) According to the law of inertia, the blocks wouldn't keep accelerating without some kind of propulsion
C ) Even a big piece of ship would likely burn up in the atmosphere, it's pointless to pick up what is basically an iron nugget (1/9 of ingot) covered in lava.
Incidentally, do you developers still have the map with the battlecruiser shown in the banner?
P.S. Do you guys have a website?
P.P.S. I know you have forums, of course.
P.P.P.S. Does this conform to Newton's laws, such as inertia and acceleration? It's kind of strange to stop as fast as breaking a netherrack block with an efficiency V golden pickaxe, and it's even stranger to go from a dead stop to 185,999.99999 miles per hour.
There's some debate on that, but the general consensus seems to be as realistic as possible without compromising gameplay value.

Hey guys. Perhaps the movement of ships in futurecraft could follow how starquest and movecraft did it for their ships. I know a lot of people who claim that futrecraft would never happen. If movecraft and starquest can do it,so can futurecraft mod. To make things easier for the programmers of futurecraft,we can actually combine with warpdrive mod, movecraft, star wars mod, tall words mod and dreamcraft modpack.
