Here's all my Boss Mob requests, and they're quite easy to make, sorta like the Creeper Queen Mod!
Boss Mobs? Huh?
Boss mobs are pretty much difficult mobs with a little touch added to them. They have a large amount of health, and usually take at LEAST 2 minutes to take down, considering you're not using anything special. Some have their own lairs they spawn in, some are large, some are small, but all of them have one thing in common: they're pretty hard to fight, but still fun!
What kind would there be?
Well, there would be a variety of them, maybe 2 at the least, and 6 at the maximum. I've decided on a list of them:
Large Skeleton Jockey
This is basically a giant skeleton riding an even bigger spider! Now, this wouldn't JUST be a giant skeleton jockey, it would have to be different. The skeleton could shoot 3 types of arrows: fire, normal, or explosive. One skeleton can't fire all of them, though, only one. So that means you could run across a fire one, a normal one, or an explosive one. The spider would vary in color depending on this, being the normal black for normal, red for fire, and blue for explosive. This mob could also climb up walls, so if you are in a fort with no roof to defend yourself, you might want to make a roof!
Zombie Totem/Gliding Zombie
If you think zombies are annoying, get ready to change your mind! The zombie totem would be a large stack of zombies, that can do a glide attack to float over you and quickly drop onto you. This mob is faster than a normal zombie, and has a larger zombie at the bottom of the totem. Any nearby zombies will follow this mob and attack you. If it loses too much health, all the top zombies will die, leaving the "gliding zombie" to follow after you, preforming the glide attack, though much smaller.
Large Spiked Turtle
This would be a completely new mob, and it would be a large turtle with spikes on it. Once it gets close to you, it will hide in it's shell and send out tiny spiked turtles, and the only method of harming the large turtle while inside it's shell is to go up to it and hit it with a sword, or use TNT. Once it is near death, it will shoot spikes at you, which can be collected from the ground.
Ever look at the Mo' Creatures mod? If so, then this would be PRETTY easy to implement. All it is a human mob without a head, carrying a iron sword, welding a Shock Spear to use after he has lost a certain amount of damage, and riding a horse. They would have a LOT of health, could shoot arrows, hit you with the sword, and hurt you with his Shock Spear (gets you struck by lightning). To take this guy down, you would need a BUNCH of arrows, or good dodging skills.
Giant Sea Serpent
This large beast is a blue and icy cyan color, swimming through the sea. It will come towards you if you dare to interrupt it's peaceful swimming. It can shoot ice at you and swim over you and drown you, or shoot it's deadly scales at you. If a piece of ice misses you, you can climb onto it in the water and use that a surface to shoot the serpent down with. The best way to defeat this beast is with the Fire Arrows, with can be made with Fiery Netherrack in place of flint, which is a bucket of lava crafted with Netherrack.
What do they drop, and where are they?
Ok...let me get to that. Here's a list:
Large Skeleton Jockey
Spawns in large caves, and drops 64 arrows, 20 string, and 10 bones. The arrows depend on the type. Ex. fire arrow for fire skeleton.
Zombie Stack/Smashing Zombie
Spawns on flat plains of grass, and drops a new item called the "Glide Boots", which allows you to fall slowly and glide when jumping with them on.
Large Spiked Turtle
Spawns near beaches, but on grass, and drops 10 spikes and a varying amount of shell.
Spawns near wood and cobblestone, but rarely, and drops iron sword, arrows, 10 obsidian, and his Shock Spear.
Giant Sea Serpent
Spawns in water rarely, and must have 20 blocks of water surrounding it to spawn. Drops Magic Scale and a Icy Monster Bone.
Pretty boring drops...anything exciting?
Oh, that's not all! There's a SLIM chance that you won't find these mobs in their normal places, and that they won't drop their normal drops...
There is a small chance that you will find a Boss Lair, which is a large castle made of obsidian, and is lit by lightstone on the inside. Once you enter, you will be faced with 8 rooms, each holding two mob spawners, each room varying the mobs in them. The rooms are relatively large, and there are 2 rooms on each story, making a total of 4 stories. Each room has a chest hidden in it, with a lever in it. There is an iron door blocking the next room, so you have to have your own lever or find the chest. Once you reach the last room, instead of 2 mob spawners, you are faced with a maze. If you get through this maze, you reach the boss. There will be a different boss for each castle, and each castle will have a special block in it. The floor of the boss room is made of this block, which looks like light blue obsidian. In each boss mob file, it will determine if it's on this block, and if it is, drop 10 diamonds and an obsidian breaker, if it's not, drop the normal set of items. Once you get the obsidian breaker, you can break your way out of the castle.
Every once in a while, a boss will drop a special item. There's a few of them, such as the hang-glider (credit to a11111), Lava Resistant Armor, and Mob Medallions! There are 5 Mob Medallions, and each is based off a nature element. There's the Earth Medallion , Water Medallion , Fire Medallion , Wind Medallion , and Lightning Medallion . These medallions can be crafted together to make the Chaos Medallion , which can be used to deal a little less than full damage to a boss mobs when right clicked with the medallion. The Giant Spiked Turtle drops the Earth Medallion, the Giant Sea Serpent drops the Water Medallion, the Large Spider Jockey drops the Fire Medallion, the Headless Horseman drops the Lightning Medallion, and the Zombie Totem/Gliding Zombie drops the Wind Medallion.
Yup, no more. Please give more suggestions, and consider trying to make at least one of these mobs! I'd be really happy! Also, this is NOT related to other boss mob posts!
Might be cool if you invent like a new series of items that are similar to each other each boss drops one of them. Like one boss drops an ATV, one boss drops a jet ski, one boss drops a hang glider, etc. Obviously not those specific things but you get the idea of each one dropping an item in the set. And it would be good because each item could function on its own and you wouldn't need to save them or look up crafting recipes and all that, you could start using the thing immediately, and you'd have some idea of what to expect after you kill a boss.

I like this, it sounds like alot of fun! But I'm not sure if I would want a giant castle of obsidian placed in my beautiful world =D I'm also a little sceptic to the hang-glider, sounds a little too fancy to me.
The medallion thing is good, I really like the idea of gathering them all to create one good one, but isn't killing a boss mob instantly a little too overpowered? Doesn't it kinda take away the fun? Or is it like when you've completed the chaos-medallion, you've battled so many bosses that it bores you, and you just wanna skip the fight and get the loot?
Seems ok, but there something I don't like.
At the place of giving fire arrow/water arrow, why not just Spider jokey will drops water/fire ?
I really like the concepts of the medaillon. But do we can use it one time ? Or does he's infinite ?
For the turtle, I don't really think why she should be a boss... Maybe the turtle will spawn some little turtle (like servant) for attacking us ?
And for the giant turtle spike, should you tell me what it's going to do ? If we can craft it ?
And a giant castle should be ugly... Maybe a medium one, not soo big, or maybe a tower !
Well, for me, its a little bit too much simple.
Try to make them a bit more complicate :tongue.gif:
