nice ideas it would be cool if there was forest mice that spawned around a sort of nut tree that sometimes dropped nuts if you throw the nuts on the ground you will attract mice and mice are very fast so it is hard to kill them but if you throw nuts on the ground they slow down to eat the nuts and then one blow with a sword and they die since they are so fast they drop many nuts that can be eaten or evin used in cooking recipes
Yay more Ideas, some of them will be added. Also added new images of the blocks. When MCP updates I'm going to try it: Modding! I'll start easy, with a block or recipe. Then I'll try to make a mob. Will need some help though. I know some java , I hope that helps... Btw which one should I make? I like the butterflies but they seem pretty hard to programm, because of the transitions they will need if they go a block higher. The bird code won't be good for butterflies. I think I'll start with a mammel. Anyway, this is what I plan to do, but that doesn't mean that I will succeed..... Let's stay possitive! MCP UPDATE PLZZZZ :biggrin.gif:
I think the Carcass should have a bit of meat on it; since when do skeletons attract scavengers?
The original should be renamed "Skeleton," while another could be a separate block, crafted like this:
[] [] []
With the sticks being bones, of course. This could attract Vultures:
A little less than the size of the eagle, they constantly circle and wheel about 20 blocks above the ground. They spawn only in high areas in the desert. When the player drops raw pork or places a carcass block, they will swoop down to feast on it.
ALSO: I personally think you should start with the Lizard, Weasel, or Centipede.
Bear
The Bear is neutral unless provoked, however, if you go near it's cubs it becomes violent.
Health:
Attack:
Drops: Fish, Bear skin, Bear Bone
Bear Cub
The Bear Cub is too young to fight - so it is therefore passive.
Drops: Small Bear skin, Bear Bone
two small bear skin = Bear skin
Lobster
The Lobster is a small creature, about twice the size of your crayfish.
The Lobster Remains neutral till attacked.
Health:
Attack:
Drops: Lobster shell, fish, Raw lobster meat (should look like this in orange - )
Warthog:
The Warthog is a neutral, tougher, brown in colour version of the pig. If provoked it becomes very
agressive, doing quite high damage with it's tusks.
Health:
Attack: , when violent
What do you think?
i like the ideas.your version of the bear would be better than dr zharks,i like the cub idea.
but the warthog is pretty much dr zharks boar.cool ideas.
also,i have another idea(or two)
Hermit:Hermits are, well hermits.THey live in small pre made areas in forest, and come in 2 varieties.
Sane:Neutral, lives in a small hut, built out of soil
Insane:Agressive, lives in the leaves of a tree,in a small hollowed out space.
Elves:Elves are Neutral, and they spawn in clumps.Elves rarely spawn in trees or anywhere really, besides an elvish town(could use battle towers code).there are 5 types of elves(each with a few skins)
Citizen:An average citizen. These guys arent anything special, just atmosphere really, but they carry items in their inventory(like paper.books,a spade )that are spat out on death.
Gaurd:A Gaurd can climb ladders and is accurate with a bow.He uses custom made elvish gaurd armour(in three varieteres, read on for explanation)that varies depending what 'level of gaurd they are, iron swords and elvish bows.
The gaurds 'level depending on how many monsters they have killed.
Hunters:Hunters explore during the day, hide during the night, and hunt all animals and mobs witha use.the weild a bow and leather chest armour. They deliver goods to a merchant
Merchant:Merchants sell you things..........i dont know how to explain any better
Lord:The Lord has to have spawned foran elvish camp to spawn. He makes citizens build a palace for himself if you give him some building materials.
Has anyone suggested a dragon? I don't know about you, but Minecraft has that feeling of needing a dragon. It would have a very low spawn rate and would only spawn near lava. The loot it had would be really high value, some diamonds, gold, and/or iron weapons/ingots/armor.
The models look good, I'd like to see some of these made. I think a few of those could be cut though, I imagine creating all of those would take forever. I suggest dragons, minecraft needs dragons.
How about Dragons? Seriously i REALLY want dragons in minecraft. i have 3 ideas for dragons
Red Dragons:Aggressive,Spawn in nether only, are 20 blocks long and 6 blocks wide they have a wing span of 30 blocks.
They are aggressive and kill whatever they find. they will breathe fire and hide in natural caves or mines the player makes if escaped to the real world. They cannot be killed by dynamite. Drops:Redstone (90%),Dynamite(3%), Sulfur(7%)
Green Dragons:Neutral,Spawn near lava (10% chance they spawn in the nether however),as big as red dragon.,They eat aggressive mobs and all the "vanilla" passives. They breathe fire if provoked. They hide in any cave with any amount of light. Cannot be killed by dynamite Drops:Iron(60%),Flint(40%)
Blue/Sea Dragons: Neutral, Spawns in extremely deep water with an area od 50 blocks around it, are 50 blocks long and 1 block wide Wingless. Kills all sea mobs that are near them. They hide in underwater caves. Cannot be killed with dynamite They will not suffocate if on land they will start flying around. Drops: Obsidian (80%) Gold (15%) Diamonds (5%)

Elvish camps are a bout 40 by 40 ina forest.
Only if you get near their nest. You don't want your eggs or babies to be killed by some miner, do you?
I kid but chipmunks are definitely an annoying pest IRL.

I just thought it fits with this because it gives also a good reason to go out and explore, while going hunting ETC
I dont want anyone to think im advertising my post.......
