I want a replay mod for 1.18, but it hasn't come out yet. I was wondering if I could go into the code and change it there. I tried changing "version" to 1.18 but that crashed the game. How do I do this?

Curse PremiumThe mod will have to be rewritten for the version of MC AND Forge (or Fabric, etc) that you want. Changing one line in the code is not enough.
Plus, you might need to get permission from the mod author.
