I've hunted around a lot for a Forge Energy mod that has a furnace you can power up with energy to melt ores instead of conventional fuel. Powah - which I love - doesn't have a furnace as such, which considering it has just about every other kind of useful gadget seems like a curious omission. I did find one called Silent's Mechanisms but it came with a lot of world-generated ores that I simply have no need for.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be very grateful.

Thanks for the tip gents! I had looked at this this but had seen only the 1.16.3 versiom. The Redstone Furnace powered up instantly as soon as I connected it to my existing Powah cabling setup. It has more nice gadgets to fiddle around with, too. I look forward to playing tonight.

I haven't used Powah much but isn't the Furnator a Powered Furnace? Or is that the Coal Generator equivalent block? The other mod options are good though.

Try the Thermal series. The machine part of it has been updated for 1.16 AFAIK.

It adds the Redstone Furnace which melts things faster - it requires RF power

Maybe Mekanism? Though I'm not sure if it is for 1.16.4 yet.
Yes, Mekanism is also a good alternate
