Otherwise from me:

I remember them asking about ChromaHUD and I said it wasn't updated to newer LF 1.8.9 builds (not tested if it works alongside them myself) so I'd say give some mods a try for 1.8.9 LF and see if they work, whether for conflicts to see if any show up, if you think any will add to your experience, whatever the case.

If you want to give some older LF 1.8.9 mods a go download the archival pack I have here and put them in your 1.8.9 instance and see if they work or not. There was an Extended Legacy Hotbar update a while back too.

@ManuelLabor Going to need more info like Legacy Fabric (1build number)/Minecraft version (1.8 9, 1.7.10, 1.12.2, which).

What mods you used, did you check the logs, did you just put many mods in and expect it to work, some may have conflicted or were old and incompatible . Did you put Forge mods in which aren't compatible either.

There won't be CSL 12.9 and below for 1.6.4 and below. If you really want very old CSL to be Installed on Legacy Fabric, delete .fabric folder and drag CSL files into the Vanilla jar then launch LF.

My thoughts:

There isn't a new file and those that have checked Modrinth or Github likely know there is an old 1.7.10/1.8.9 version (1.0.0 https://modrinth.com/mod/legacyinputpatch/version/1.0.0), and a 1.7/1.8/15w14a build available being version 1.0.2. https://modrinth.com/mod/legacyinputpatch/version/1.0.2

If there is a new 1.7-1.7.9 file coming with fix then likely that that the 'oh it's supporting these versions as the supported versions show on these files already'. Just posting the quote so people know and more clarity coming soon/speculation. So keep an eye out for that at some point.

Legacy Fabric is active, Cursed Fabric not so much. If you want Fabricated Forge as well to allow Forge mods support in some form (like Patchwork and Forgework API before them but those are more so dead I think) it's alive and well.
