Help! I decided I want to play mods on Forge 1.7.2. However, once when I pressed the play and the launcher disappears, nothing happens and I didn't received any crash reports. Can anyone fix this?
I suggest using Twitch of MultiMC to play older versions of modded MC. Its difficult to play older versions of modded MC on the current Mojang launcher.

Hey Guys, I have a question. I installed Java and all that, but when I try to open forge with Java, Java doesn't show up in the folder I put it in. What the hell?

3.Once it's installed correctly it shouldn't show any opening with a web browser (if it does just select the open with and java and it should be fine).
4.Then click the Forge jar (you'll want the installer, pass the ad site and go for the button in the top right, ignore the ad below): https://files.minecraftforge.net/
(if you need a video look to Youtube as there is many out there).
5.Next launch your launcher and see if there is a Forge profile, if not create a new one, select the version of Forge that you got for that version (1.13.2+ versions appear higher up, 1.12.2 and below appear below 1.0.0 of Minecraft versions).
6.Go to your .minecraft, you can do this either by searching for %appdata% or you can go through the resource packs menu to get to the .minecraft folder. then go to the 'mods' folder (if there isn't one create one, just don't name it with captials).
7.Put your mods in there and launch the game, if it doesn't work just close the launcher and re-launch it.
Consideration:
8.Make sure to get mods from curseforge as it's the safest site for things like this, and if there is issues make sure to get either a library file (mods that other mods need) or move mods out of the folder to see what is causing it. If you do have the game crash just go to .minecraft and you'll see a crash reports folder, just paste that to hastebin, save, and paste the link and people can look through the report to help you with the issue your having.

2.Hi, just install java once you get it from the official site here: https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
