So I followed a step by step guide to instal forge and mods by breakdown but the mods don't show up in game. I restarted my minecraft but it didn't work. I inculded some images. can someone help me please.
I'm confused, you have 1.12.2 and 1.14.4 mods for one. Otherwise why no Forge in the Mod Options or was it still loading...
Do you have Java installed (don't rely on the one Minecraft comes bundled with)?
The Forge profile is there, but is it in the versions folder of your .minecraft?
Otherwise version numbers are important for modding. 1.12.2 and 1.14.4 mods don't work together, unless it's a rare case like the 1.9.4 to 1.10 transition, 1.12 and 1.12.2 won't likely work (depends on if the dev supports it but usually treat them as different) and 1.12.2 and 1.14.4 don't. So you need to wait for developers to update their mods to 1.14.4 or use other mods by other developers. As Forge goes through changes if Mojang does something or Forge is intended to change itself developers have to adapt to these changes like datapacks with 1.13+ (which devs can take advantage of now), Mojang's changes in 1.13+ due to 1.13 being a technical update besides just the Aquatic stuff or Forge's legacy code reasoning the Forge devs wanted to change.
You get used to it but it's a thing to consider. I'd say try another launcher like MultiMC https://multimc.org/ to see if things work there but otherwise can you show me your versions folder with the Forge file? Other than that I'm not sure, as you clearly don't need a check for your Minecraft as Vanilla works clearly... not sure what would be blocking Forge or it's just an odd install of sorts...
I'd say start from scratch the Forge 1.14.4 install, only have 1.14.4 mods in the mods folder and see what happens, otherwise use MultiMC, it's ability to do things is much better, easier, cleaner and installing Forge is just an edit of the instance an a 'Install Forge' button away (separate 1.12.2 into a folder called '1.12.2' and Forge can load those, this doesn't work for 1.13+ this feature but for 1.12.2 and prior it's great so you don't have conflicts, to separate 1.13+ mods just put them in a numbered folder so they are out of the way, not for the game to load them like with 1.12.2). I only have Fabric and Forge ones separated so I can tell the difference, it won't load them, you have to have them in the mods folder for them to work.
