The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Ok so I tried starting up Minecraft using SEUS PTGI E8 and Pulchra Revisited 512x and my game crashes when I try to load up the world, In one instance I could load up the world but could only see a bunch of glitchy textures with the same error in the log.
You have only 2G memory allocated. You need to at least double that.
And do you have 64 bit Java installed?
This is an issue with native memory, outside of the Java heap (this includes the OpenGL errors as OpenGL is part of the graphics driver. which is native code):
Native memory allocation (malloc) failed to allocate 602128 bytes for Chunk::new
As explained here:
You need to understand that there are two types of "out of memory" errors.
The first one is the OutOfMemoryException which you get when Java code is running and the Java heap is not large enough. This means Java code asks the Java runtime for memory. You can fix those with -Xmx...
The other error is when the Java runtime runs out of memory. This isn't related to the Java heap at all. This is an error when Java asks the OS for more memory and the OS says: "Sorry, I don't have any."
