Trying to make a hot spring with the hot spring water from Biomes O' Plenty. I was having trouble flattening the water out, so I just plan to fill it with WorldEdit. I can't figure out what the name of the block is for me to use to fill in my spring. I'm sure there's an easier way, or at least a way to find out what the name is, so any help would be appreciated.
How did you find it using worldedit? I'm trying to figure out the same thing. 381 is now the ID for blood, not spring water.
first of all, ever since 1.7 forge auto-sets block and item ID's per-world based on installed mods, so your ID's will almost never be the same between worlds. Secondly I think JEI can show it (but I could be wrong)
I think Hwyla/Waila, TUMAT or other mods that do this sort of thing (mods with monitors that track this sort of thing like RFTools) are what your after from a survival perspective.
NEI had a block detection feature like that but Waila, TUMAT and monitoring blocks display blocks, harvest level and fluids in tanks, so much more than NEI ever did. JEI never had these features it was always Waila/Hwyla you would see installed in modpacks alongside it. And few used the NEI one in comparison to Waila due to the addons I mentioned.

I can't for the life of me find the ID of the source block either. All I see is that the bucket is 4220.
Stay fluffy~
you can always go into Minecraft and use the /setblock command and find it using the tab auto-complete.
