I know this kind of thing has been done before, but it's a really good idea.
So a few of my friends and I have decided to make a server, and create a large modpack with a ton of magic and tech mods. One group will only be able to use tech related mods, and one group will only be able to use magic.
However, a problem shows up. While tech has security craft items, automated turrets, even technological forcefields, and so much more, magic is lacking in base defense. They have no way to stop tech from A. Launching a missle at them. B. Just walking it with rocket launchers and blowing stuff up.
In addition, tech has so many missles and base defenses that people with magic can just be blown away. So a second thing I'm looking for is some strong defensive magic, like a summonable forcefield or something to protect the player, although this is less of a priority than protecting the base.
