What are you more likely to do in the main game/Vanilla, adventuring, mining, mob farms...
With this information it will make it easier to state what your looking for so you ease into mods rather than make it difficult to determine what will suit you when you get into mods for the first time.
Otherwise I have a 'Category Covering Lite' modpack that I made to suit but if you want to know how to install Forge for 1.12.2 and put mods into the game for a custom modpack you create yourself over using 'pre-made' modpacks that's ok.
I'd rather have it where you can experience mods that suit your tastes currently with the game rather than throw a bunch at you and you work out what you like depending on the categories and somewhat even struggle with being thrown in the deep end since that wouldn't likely work I feel, but if you'd want that I obviously have the modpack for that.

i like to do everything whether its farming or adventuring, redstone, building, fighting i love it all although i would like to focus more on building and farming more but i still wanna do the other stuff
and btw i've been looking for someone experienced with mods to play with gut theres to things wrong i cant find one and i dont know how to make a free server or anything like that can u maybe help me
Farming usually ends up going into the spectrums of these: Technology since farm with automation usually, or more food/ore and mob plants and so.
Adventuring there is a good amount of, some RPG like, others dungeons/ruins/dimensions, some magic mods add adventure but have their own 'technical aspects too them so best to make sure you can tell'...
Building more so suits those that want easier times building their structures instead of block by block like 'building wands/building guides', or more blocks types to build with.
Redstone can vary, it's either gates in one block space or more options, otherwise I'm a noob at this side of modding but I'd say many do that sort of thing and suit with either Redstone contraptions or technology for automation.
Fighting I'd say suits the same as for what I said with Adventure. I know biome mods and otherwise would more so suit Adventure but I was thinking a long the lines of Exploration there I guess. Fighting I'd say there is a good amount of tools/armour/weapons, dimension/dungeon mods that fit that area.
If I had to label mods I've not sure since each one can do something even the slightest bit better or worse depending on what your looking for.
Otherwise mods like Just Enough Items are great for recipes when mods add a lot of blocks, tools, items, weapons, armour, blocks you interact with and so on that you end up needing a mod like it for recipes, cheating in blocks if you want to test, @mod searching and more.
Minimap mods make it easier to track where you have been with waypoints/teleport to waypoints, or just look at 'world map' scaled past locations you have visited since maps do track player movement in the world as the game generates it's terrain.
Here's my discord if you want help with mods and about them:

When it comes to servers though, I can't really help you there, I'm a real noob towards server unfortunately.
