Ok so I don't know if this belongs here, but I've been having a game breaking (what I assume to be) glitch, and haven't found anything about it so far.
Whenever I assemble and mount any sort of ship and start driving it, after a few seconds, the world will stop responding completely. Mobs stop moving, no chunks generate, and I can't open the ship's inventory or disassemble it either. When leaving the world while still flying on the ship and then reentering, either the ship disappears completely, or I fall out of it and watch it fly for a few more blocks before it starts descending on its own. I can't break any blocks, load any new chunks even when walking away from the ship, remount the ship, execute commands, or kill any mobs. I also don't take any fall damage, and potion effects don't go away. At one point I managed to get away far enough from it to make everything work again by teleporting the player through 3rd party software, but chunks still didn't load. I tried setting up a command block to kill all entities in the area, but as soon as I got close to where the ship landed, it stopped working again. When leaving the world, the game will freeze, and I have to restart everything. The world progress is not saved.
I've already tried updating, but this happens in both 1.12 and 1.12.2. Pruning the chunk with the ship in it doesn't help either, and even after removing both DaVincis Vessels and Moving World, I still can't load any new chunks, the world just seems to cut off at a certain point, even in areas I've already been to.

All mods are updated to the latest version.
Sometimes there is a message in the log saying either "entity.shipmod.name (vehicle of Spoodergril) moved too quickly!" or "Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 3909ms behind, skipping 78 tick(s)".
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this bug, and maybe know a way to fix it?? I would really love to continue using this mod, so any advice would be appreciated!
The ship only consists of about 50 blocks, including a few chests and furnaces. I have allocated about 5GB of RAM (out of 8), and for some reason everything works perfectly fine on 1.7.10. Unfortunately, noone has mentioned this issue on the issue tracker :/

I don't want to create another thread about Davinci so I thought I would continue this one.....
So the dev stopped development on this mod correct? Will the current version work with 1.16 or even 1.15.2 or do we have to wait for an update that will never come?

You should have made your own thread.
You can only use a mod version with the matching Forge and MC version.
