What kind of problems happens when you add new mods to an endgame map/modpack?
The answer is LAG!!! A LOT OF LAG! Actually TONS OF LAG!
And strange things like, Galacticraft mobs spawning on Overworld and/or in the Twilight Forest... ON SINGLE PLAYER!
Other strange thing that happens is that the Blizz mob, from Themal, becomes invisible. This is because of a problem with the Entity ID. So you need to change the config file for the Thermal Foundation to be able to generate their specific entity ID for this mob.
Other strange thing that could happen is that some other dimentions, like Twilight Forest, begins to act as if it were the Space Station Dimension from Galacticraft. So it's really hard to move around there...
Well... I have a tendency to do that... (To add new mods into a modpack and to continue playing in my endgame map.) And this is causing me to get crazy! My latest experience with this kind of weirdness was when I decided to add Animals Plus on my modpack... I already Have 219 mods installed at this point (and never was needed more than 5Gb for it to run smothly). And was on the endgame stage, as you can see by this footage:
But, then! What happened was that my log files begin to show these messages every now and then:
The server is lagging 200719 ms behind, 3014 ticks will be skipped.
Packet payload failure! Please check your config files!
The server is lagging 200096 ms behind, 3001 ticks will be skipped.
The server is lagging 100027 ms behind, 1000 ticks will be skipped.
When I open my world, everything is fine. But, while I keep playing, this messages (That make my game freezes for a few seconds) begins to appears more and more. To a point that I can't keep up. So I need to close the game and open it again. And even if I increse the amount of memory dedicated to Minecraft, the problem persists. So I decided: "I need to remove this mod!" So I did it! [Animals Plus removed]
But now, what happens? Galacticraft mobs spawning on new generated chunks, when I go travel around the world... Argh! This is stressfull!
I mean... The game should have a way to re-create those IDs, for the items, biomes and mobs, every time a new mod was detected... Obviouly this could happens when the game is on it's loading screen, for the map we've selected...
So, even if we add new mods on a late game, we will be able to play without any issues... (I think... Because, you know... Modding and programing is never that easy) But... Well... That's it!
And now I have these problems: My game freezes every other 30~40 seconds, for about 1~3 seconds. And I have these Galacticraft Mobs spawning on overworld. And I don't even mentioned what happens when you add mods that have world generation!!!! Those are the wrose!
Well... If anyone know something about these stuff I wrote here, please let me know.
I will be glad...
Thanks for reading this...
I hope I helped someone out there...

(you'll also have to set the dump dimension IDs and biome IDs in logs option to true in the config file)
go into the game log files and look for the biome ID list then check all the biomes that are overwriting each other (the twilight forest biomes in this case)
then go into the corresponding mod's config file and change the biome ID to a unused ID so they don't overlap
(do the same thing with dimension IDs with overlapping dimensions too and it should be fine)
that's how I did it in my 1.7.10 modpack (it's on curseforge and it's named Galactical Adventurers)
Well... Hello!

Suggestions:
1. Play the modpack "as is." Don't add additional mods to an already balanced and configured modpack.
2. Make your own modpack with the mods you want. There are plenty of third-party launchers/apps that you can easily make your own modpacks.
