My question is so simple and yet I've never yet been able to figure out the answer: how do you calculate just how much RF/t a ReactorCraft Fusion Reactor produces?
So, I have a fully functioning ReactorCraft Fusion Reactor with 1 Turbine Generator. My goal is to display the power it puts out, somewhere, be it on a ComputerCraft monitor, a Nuclear Control 2 Advanced Information Panel, or anywhere that works. I'm on a 1.7.10 singleplayer server, so anything imaginable that works, is fine.
Have you guys got any idea?
I'll be online and following this thread closely, so don't hesitate to ask something if I'm not quite clear enough
Returns the average energy flow over the last second.
also I noticed the RF meter keeps requesting energy when using the RF cables I use BC pipes and it works properly (i.e. stops requesting energy when whatever is past it doesn't need more) so don't rely too much on it
the problem is BC pipes only hold up tu 10240 RF/t and i bet your reactor produces 5,000,000+ RF/t so I recommend the electricraft battery when regulating the flow
the bottom is the Total RF flow and the letter is the modifier
I am planning to use OC too is there a list of useful commands out there? still learning using YT videos
i think the RF/t doesn't fluctate because it uses average RF/t while the battery uses faster calculation (because it's easier inside the code i think)
i noticed that some pipes store RF and if you use the RFmeter it will keep the pipes full so in theory it will count exactly how much rf did pass but for example if you use electricraft RF pipes that can store a very large amount of RF then the RFmeter will fill those even if nothing is consuming the RF so it may appear that it's counting more but it's just filling the cables storage
i think other methods like using a battery or the EIO capacitor will behave like this too
My setup seems to produce a LOT more RF/t than yours I think. Maybe it's the four preheaters & plasma injectors?
About OC, I started with the basics: a youtube vid on how to setup a basic computer (with all its components: CPU, GPU, HDD, RAM etc) but in the end I had to youtube Servers because the limit of one CPU was reached, since I also have it linked up with my Draconic Evolution battery (GOD I wish the author of it would update for 1.7.10 ^^). The program I found here.
Try not to use EIO Capacitors, I read and experienced myself that they recude your FPS by quite a bit, depending on how big you make em.
