I haven't been able to find a pottery mod that works like the better than wolves mod. Do you guys know of any that's also functional and not for just decoration?
You could try asking the author of Ceramics author if they could backport for you as it is the only one that comes to mind with funtional pottery/clay stuff.

Ah yes I've already read one of his posts in regards to 1.7.10. The code is so different that he would have to rewrite everything from scratch. 1.7.10 is out of the question

Early survival things like an early game furnace/kiln (cooking), early game bowl (eating), early game vase (storing/item transportation). I already have a clay bucket mod, and the garden stuff mod for transporting cold liquids and decoration, but the other survival stuff is missing.
