I have a problem that guards(NPCs) that I create are not being attacked by mobs. They do attack mobs but are not being attacked by mobs. I am creating a little Metro 2033 map, and I want the guards on the station to attack the incoming mutants, and mutants attack the guards. I have also downloaded NBTEdit, which I have not tried using before, and is there any way I can maybe add something to the mob's AI, so they would attack the NPCs?
The Metro 2033 mod is on 1.5.2, I would use a different version if I could.
Assuming my 1.7.10 minecraft version of the mod is at all similar, I am gonna say, there should be a global tab to create factions, and in the AI tab there should be somewhere to set the NPC to attack other factions. (Then again, you are more outdated than 1.7.10, so I do not know if this applies to you)
I can make NPCs attack each other, but I am talking about NPCs being attacked by mobs like zombies and skeletons, or in my case, different mutants from the Metro 2033 mod. (And yes I have tried both modded mutants and vanilla monsters, and they both do not attack NPCs.)

Interesting. I unfortunately do not know much about coding or AIs, but from what I see, and what you tell me, I think that there is something about the 'custom' of the CNPCs mod that is causing the non-compatability. However, as I had said before, I will look further in depth tomorrow. Thank you for the picture as well.

Heyooo Robotnik003! In the global tab there is a faction creation thing. Create a faction for your guards/ non aliens. Add ALL CNPCs to those factions. Check 'Attacked by mobs'. I hope that your version is similar, or if it isnt, then look for a setting like I just described.
I knew about this setting in the newer version of Custom NPCs, but I cannot seem to find this option on my version. I think I am just missing something really simple, like I always do.

I suppose Ill download and figure out the version that you are using, and dont worry, happens to me all the time! (Especially dialogue with CNPCs)

May I ask why the heck you're still using 1.5.2? O_o

Hmmmm. Ill see what I can find tomorrow on mobs from other mods attacking CNPCs. Thanks for clarifying.
Here is the visualization of the problem:
