So I just joined minecraft a few months ago in June 2016, and I played the game until now and one of my favourite block is command blocks. So I tried playing with it on my world that I started with and just found out online t=about repeating command blocks (purple command blocks). So I've done an experiment on repeating command blocks and I went in to try to type /kill @p in the command (stupid me). And now whenever I spawned it to the world it always kill me. It was the world I started since minecraft and I don't want to see my career being dead. there is a lot of cool redstone works in the world and also take up time to be made. I also searched online for a way to deactivate the command block or remove the command block from my world which is MCEdit but I couldn't open it and 7-zip (which is the launcher that forced me to open the .exe with it). Replying the solution will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I once did that just with a repeater clock instead of a repeating command block. youngtomlin is right. MCEdit is your best option. If you'd like, I can make you a tutorial on how to do that. But there could be another way... If you can manage to get to the ESC screen and open to lan and have someone join your game, then one of you could could possibly manage to /setblock X Y Z air (the X Y Z being the coords of the command block. The @p selector will target nearest player so one of you could maybe destroy the command block because it will only be targeting one of you. Alternatively, you could un-load that chunk if your spawnpoint is far enough away by going into video settings and setting your render distance to 2 chunks. But that probably won't work as most likely senario is that the command block is in your spawn chunks and your spawn chunks are always loaded. MCEdit is your best bet. I am very good at MCEdit. I even took a course on it. If you'd like you can send me the world save by going into your .minecraft/saves folder on your computer and taking out the world folder. If you sent it to me then I can go into it and remove the command block for you.
