Hi, everytime I insttall nei my game crashes, I have code chicken core and a couple of other mods so I dont know what went wrong... Heres my crash report. Im using 1.10 by the way.

I've been using JEI instead. It doesn't require a secondary mod to support it, and I think it's been available for 1.10.2 longer, so I expect that some mods for 1.10.2 are set up to support JEI rather than NEI. Also, it's available on CurseForge with no adfly links, and has GitHub source available.

There's no mention of that if one downloads NEI from the links at http://chickenbones.net/Pages/links.html
Nope. Different developers. JEI is developed by mezz, while NEI was originally developed by chicken_bones, but apparently now taken over by covers1624 (see https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/not-enough-items-1-8 )
