There is a mod that I installed and then when I'm about to drag it into my 1.7.10 folder, I notice that it is for 1.8.9. I need help. I want to figure out how to start a mods folder without crashing minecraft. I'm a mac user. Please help.
Hi! I am on Windows, but I think this will still work. Go onto your internet and just look up whatever mod you had but just add 1.7.10 after it and find the one label with your mod as 1.7.10. Hope this helps. Bye.

Hm. That doesn't work. Plus, its only for 1.8.9. So. I'll figure it out later but if you still want to help, your totally welcome to.
That will help for some mods, but not all mods for 1.8.9 have 1.7.10 versions.
@l1f3l1ne if you specify what mod you're considering that's for 1.8.9, I can check if there's a 1.7.10 version of it. (or a mod with similar functionality for 1.7.10)
