Just downloaded it and started playing. I get a message that says some blocks are being removed, to please use Vanilla or Quark versions. I've no idea what that means. I thought vanilla meant the game in it's true form.
I also get another message that says this port is unofficial!!! and to report it to a certain url, (Which I will do even though I don't understand why that port is unofficial) It's in my pc.
Also, for some reason, the game is now 'jerky' it starts and stops all the time.
Any help would be appreciated,

I'm using Minecraft 1.9.4 with Forge and Liteloader, I also have Optifine and SEUS shaders
The messages from Botania are intended. First, any version after 1.7.10 is unofficial, as in another mod author has taken it over. That is stated to let players know its not the original mod author (Vazkii) making the new Botania. The message about the blocks means the mod will be trimmed down (certain decoration blocks will be removed).
