Although if I may ask, are the new features being discussed being worked on? Can we get just a replacement first and new features in later updates?
i believe that there are some features being added, ie configurable turbine steam, because these can affect how the class is rewritten. latest thing to be added/ported was ore spawning which is important for a release but i believe the main part of the mod (reactors and turbines) is working. @ZeroNoRyouki please correct me if i am wrong.
Oh, but there is one thing... My favorite part was setting up the RedNet controllers; one outputs the % energy stored the other takes that as input and inserts the control rods by the same %. Automatic control to keep from wasting fuel. I haven't looked to see if RedNet is in 1.10.2 yet, but at any rate it'd be nice if there were a way to do that within the mod itself.
computercraft and opencomputers can do that easily. here is a computercraft script for 1.7.10, i imagine that nothing has changed with the api or how it funcitions so it should work fine when BR 1.10 is released, that does the same thing and keeps the reactor on.
i thought the individual fuel rod controls was good for fine tuning the reactor to get precisely the steam output needed for the turbines.. just wish was easier way to automate them a bit.. tho was always annoyed with . core temp and case temp gave different effects and was no way to truly put core heat to the case to reduce core temps and keep casing temp high. .. the core temp was always within 10 degrees of the case heat. ..so a way to reduce core temps and raise casing temps would be helpful to control efficiency .. would also been great to be able and push more then 2000 mb of steam to a turbine
