(lol I've done these kinds of threads a lot lately)
Anyways I've been wanting to make a good modded survival world lately, and I've tested several mods. I've found some that are personal favourites, like Mr. Crayfish's Furniture Mod, or Grimoire of Gaia 3, or Carpenter's Blocks, and others that are perfectly good mods, but just don't work for me, like
Adventurer's Amulets or Galacticraft (fantastic mod, just not great for a survival world unless that's all you're going to focus on.
But I wanna hear some of YOUR favourites. You can suggest anything, but I don't really want a mod that is complex like Thaumcraft, and I like ones that stick to a Minecrafty feel (like Lycanite's Mobs, for example, doesn't feel too Minecraft-like with those textures).
If any of you have any mods you want to suggest, that would be great.
I change my mods more often than some, but here are the mods I'm using at the moment:
Applied Energistics 2
Binnie's Mods (with patcher)
IndustrialCraft 2 Experimental
Mariculture (still evaluating, not sure I'd call it a "favorite" yet)
Armor Status HUD
Batty's Coordinates Plus
Fast Leaf Decay
IC2 NEI Plugin
Thaumcraft Node Tracker
Magic Mods (still evaluating, not sure I'd call them "favorites" yet):
Draconic Evolution is a late game (really late game) adventure mod. I haven't used it much so I can't say what it does exactly, but I have it in my pack and it seems pretty cool. And yes, a lot of these mods really complex and take time to get in to.
