Hello, i use many mob mods and i want all thos hostile mobs. But i dont want them to spawn in my base. There are some mobs that spawn at daylight and they are hostile. Im searching for a mod, some kind of beacon that stops mob spawn in a area. I dont want the mod to be cheated, so i want this beacon not too easy to get. If you know of a mod that does these kind of thing then tell me
Best item for this that I can think of is the Interdiction Torch from ProjectE. It repels mobs and stops them from spawning in a 5 block radius but is fairly expensive costing 3 diamonds to craft 2 torches. Another (harder to use) solution is the Interdiction Ritual from Blood Magic which repels and prevents mobs from spawning in a 10 block radius.

May I suggest Extra Utilities? It's an extremely useful mod, and it adds a somewhat-expensive Magnum torch, which has a 64-block radius where it disables the spawning of mobs.

Seconded. There's also the Chandelier from EU, which prevents mob spawns in a 16-block radius (and is much less expensive than the Magnum Torch).

Thank you very much! Hard to use is no problem, i like it. Does it prevent hostile and passive?
The torch only works on hostile mobs while the ritual works with all mobs and can be altered to also repel items or players.

Souls - After you die, a hostile Soul that stores your inventory will spawn.
Auto Refresh - Automatically refreshes your server list and alerts you when your selected server comes online.
Pick Block Plus - A clientside mod that significantly improves the vanilla pick block function.
