I recently put together a mod pack that involves adventure magic and tech mods, but I have seen to run into a problem. Every time I go into caves, I pick 3 to 4 types of copper and tin ore. This gets annoying especially because I don't have the inventory space to be picking up all these types of ore that should be stacking. How can I fix this issue? I know I can disable worldgen in the mods config file, but not all mods let me disable the worldgen.
If you have checked the config files for the mods, you did what was needed. Not all mods have configs, and not all configs give full control. You'll have to do your best to remove the duplicate ores.

Ok, but can I get some help with because I'm not really sure what mods I should use to generate the ores, and what I should use to disable.
These mods generate the duplicate ores:
Forestry
Galacticraft (I don't know why, but this mod seems to have 2 of the same copper ores using different ID's.)
Industrial Craft 2
Tinkers
Mekansim
Project Red
Metallurgy
Thermal Foundation
Nether Ores
Railcraft
If you need my full modlist just ask and I can post it.
OK, copper and tin are the most common. Silver and lead second. Personally, I like Thermal Foundation over IC2, so I would go thru the rest and disable copper, tin, lead and silver. Make sure to keep Osmium in Mekanism, and Aluminum in Tinkers.
The only problem I see might be with Galacticraft. I've read it can be picky when changed.

OK, so I went through all the config files, and some mods, don't have an option to disable worldgen, what can I do here? Am I going to have to just deal with the duplicate ores?

Which of your mods lack the options to disable the worldgen ores? You might have missed the options in the config. I'm fairly sure Forestry, Galacticraft, IndustrialCraft 2, Tinkers, and Railcraft can all be configured to disable their ores from being generated.
However, they're often on an ore-by-ore basis, not always as a single option to disable all worldgen for the mod - in fact, some mods have ores that might not be covered by your other mods (like possibly Apatite from Forestry or Uranium from IC2, in addition to the Osmium from Mekanism and Aluminum from Tinkers that majestyc2k1 mentioned), in which case you wouldn't want to disable all the worldgen for the mod.

I didn't see an option to disable the ores in my forestry and galacticraft config. Maybe I missed them?
If the option in the config doesn't exists, then yes, your stuck with multiple ores. Hopefully you were able to cut down the number a bit. But on the bright side, those ores are compatible in crafting recipes.

EDIT : Or in Railcraft.
For Forestry, it's near the bottom of forestry/common.cfg
For Galacticraft, it's about line 84 in Galacticraft/core.conf (the options are called "Enable Copper Ore Gen" etc.)

If I remember correctly CofhCore has the ability to overwrite the ore gen from other mods and either disable or edit each ores spawning.
