I need help finding a good computer for modded minecraft that will run good. I'm not good with this kind of stuff so don't say a bunch of stuff i probably won't understand. My budget is $500 and I know it's not much to work with. Thank you guys so much
It's not the best, but I just hopped over to my local best buy and got the best balance between cost, RAM, CPU, and graphics. Don't panic, the information for those are all on a sticker. Or tell that to the GeekSquad and let them go nutz. I don't know if that's optimal, but that's just what I've did.

Sorry I know that what I initially said, and my rebuttal when you replied are two different things, but I am terrible at explaining things. It usually takes someone else who tells me something like "......? I don't understand..." to get it right after the fact. I hope it didn't confuse you too much!

I'd normally advise to simply build your own system as it's much cheaper and suited to your unique needs, however I recognize this is not the option for everyone. As a basic entry level system, take a look at the Minion from Ironside Computers. It's a bit out of your price range but it will give you a good idea of the basic specs to look for. http://ironsidecomputers.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=28223_28240&products_id=64&zenid=0ff845ffb4c5f7af4625cd95b269a424
