The overall objective of this mod is to give the player easy controlls over mob spawning in and customization of them
- Items -
Item Name: Wrench
Item Effect: The wrench will essentially give me the power to change the mobs stats and equptment, from health, attack damage, speed, helmet type, potion effect, Effects that happen after death, Spawning time, How many times they'll spawn, ect
How to use: Right Click in air to open up the menu, Right Click on a mob to give them the effects on the Wrench
Item Name:Button
Item Effect: Button will toggle the visibility of mobs spawned in game

With this mod mobs will work like placing blocks, except in creative mode they cannot move and will be visible fully, you can see the effects of the wrench (Like spawn radius), when changed to adventure mode they will spawn when the player enters in that spawn radius but if you change back to creative mode they will go back to the spawn points and be reset

Mod must have - Multiplayer compatibility
Sounds to me like the two items that can be potentially accomplished through the item interact event. The mob effects sound to me like a challenge, and sounds like you would be using a subscribe event for altering certain mob properties. I have only seen mob drops be added, but I wish you the best of luck. The spawn point thing is nothing that I will touch with a ten foot pole without being given more info. How much does it pay and when is it due?
I'm thinking about hiring a modder to make a new type of mob spawning system, anybody know the going price for hiring a modder?

It might be cheaper/easier to learn Java.
