I really want my mods to work on optifine. My minecraft is laggy after 3 seconds. But I still want to use my mods. How could I combine them?
Going to assume you didn't even try to drop the Optifine jar in the mods folder. Drop the jar file you downloaded for Optifine (the one that installs it) into the mods folder created by Forge. The installer doubles as a Forge-loadable mod file to use.

Like jcm2606 said, drop the Optifine jar in the mods folder. If you have mod conflicts (with armor rendering or block rendering), you only can ask the developer to add the compatibility.
Download the Standard or Ultra build of Optifine (only these two provide support for HD textures) for the version of Minecraft you're running and drop it in Forge's mods folder.
