Tinker's has been a great and unwavering mod for some time now. I think it's time they amp-up their game. Here's a set of ideas for new things to be crafted.
-Battle signs can now be placed with shift-left-click and written on with a chisel (unless made from wood, paper, or other soft material).
-Liquid Leather: Gotten from smelting cows down. Or leather.
-Tar: Gotten from melting down coal and mixing it with glue. A tar block is bouncy, and liquid tar is sticky and will make you sink.
-Glue: Now made from horses, sheep, or slime-balls.
-Coal: Can now be melted to liquid form and poured into a block of iron or mixed with certain alloys. Coal and iron blocks make spark-iron which can cause a sort of thorns effect, only instead of just hurting the attacking mob, the attacking mob catches fire.
-Mystery meat- Any animal killed in here will now produce an unknown meat. Pour this into meat-blocks, or a can.
-Can- Pour a material into a can mold to make a can. These have many purposes: Placing one down allows it to collect water from rain, or snow from snow. It also serves as a container for mystery-meat to be eaten. Likewise, one can combine a chest-peice and a can to make a scuba tank.
-Helmet: Any material can be smelted into armor, the same materials exist as with weaponry.
- Hazmask: Wearing this entire suit greatly reduces damage from poisons, just the head is only slightly helpful. To build you will need to use liquid leather on a mask-mold in a smeltery.
-Scuba mask: Simply place a normal helmet into the casting table, and then pour liquid glass onto it. It will make a scubba mask which allows one to exist under-water for a whole minute before taking damage. Each piece of subba-equipment added after this will add a minute. But without the mask, no amount of equipment will help you breath.
-Spiked helmet: A bit harder to make, but things you jump into will take small amounts of damage.
-Chest plate: Simplistic chest-plate that can be crafted from many materials.
-Hazmat-suit: Another piece of the poison-proof suit.
-Scuba-suit: Holds more air for the helmet. Combine a can with a chest-peice in a tool-forge. You can have up to 10 cans attached.
-Glide suits: A handy tool that when activated with G will extend a glider to help travel. Simply pour liquid leather and glue onto a chestpeice.
Legs: Again, simplistic leggings of all verities.
Hazmat-pants: Actually reduces fire-damage as well as wither damage. Pour liquid tar onto a pair of legs.
Tight-suit: Liquid leather onto legs. These help you move faster through liquids.
Shoes: Same as the other basic armor components.
Hazmat boots: Protect one from slowness in things like soul-sand. Luiquid leather on shoes.
Flippers: Allow for faster mobility through water.
-Note: Any armor created with obsidian will be heavier and slightly slow the player when In use, but it's super durable and almost never breaks.
Armor enhances (done in a tool forge)
-Diamonds/Emeralds/Obsidian adds durability.
-Add a dye to change the armor's color.
-Add lapis to gain "persuasiveness" which will allow better trades with villagers.
-Can be combined with a compass to give the player what is known as a waypoint creator. By shift-G ing a block, the compass GUI shown when you hold shift will point towards that block.
-Scuba gear/Glide gear as stated.
Combine a chest or knap-sack to give yourself another 4 inventory slots.
-2 Redstone blocks can be added to make the shoes be given a redstone effect so anything the player walks on is given a small (x1) redstone signal.
-Pistons can be added to help one jump higher.
-Sticky pistons allow one to stick to the ground better and be moved less by explosions and arrows.
BATTLESIGNS: I don't want them to make battle signs placeable since they're battle signs. Here's my idea, if you craft a battlesign, you'll be able to write something on it (like "RAISE TAXES AND DIE") without placing the battlesign. Basically, you could make the battlesign like a protest sign. You could write something on it and hit people with it.
LIQUID LEATHER: If someone weak-hearted plays Minecraft with TConstruct and finds out that you can smelt cows, they'll get a heart attack. So, why not just smelt leather instead of cows. P.E.T.A would approve ( I guess. ). Also, what does it do, or what can you make with it?
TAR: This is really amazing, really. I never thought about this one. I mean mixing coal and glue makes Tar, right? Minecraft Logic.
GLUE: Why horses and sheep? Slimeballs will work, though.
COAL: The most amazing yet. Though, I prefer electric iron than spark iron, but I think some will mistake the electric iron for the electric iron that you use to iron clothes out. Pretty cool thing.
MYSTERY MEAT: The part where you pour the meat out into blocks, can be an alternative way to make the Meat Blocks from MineFactory Reloaded.
CAN MOLD: Small addition, but pretty good, but make the Scuba Tank recipe into being the Chest Piece in the middle and two cans beside it. Like this:
0 - Nothing
1 - Chest Piece or Chestplate
2 - Can
One flaw, though: Without the gas "oxygen", you can't fuel the Scuba Tank.
HELMET: I think they said that they will add this later on.
HAZMASK: These should be invulnerable to all gases that mods add. Like Glenn's Gases, Mekanism, etc. But good idea and name.
SCUBA HELMET: Nothing to change, really. I don't know.
SPIKED HELMET: This should be Spiked Boots.
CHESTPLATE: Same as Helmet, above.
HAZMAT SUIT: Same as Hazmask, above.
SCUBA SUIT: Same as Scuba Helmet, above.
GLIDER SUIT: The crafting recipe needs to change. Ain't realistic enough.
LEGGINGS: Same as Helmet and Chestplate, above.
HAZMAT PANTS: Same as Hazmask and Hazmat Suit, above.
TIGHT SUIT: Should be called the Titanium Underwear, other than that, nothing else but crafting recipe
BOOTS: Same as Helmet, Chestplace, and Leggings, above.
HAZMAT BOOTS: Same as Hazmask, Hazmat Suit, and Hazmat Leggings, above.
FLIPPERS: Crafting recipe and nothing else.
- Diamonds, Emeralds, Obsidian: OK.
- Add dye to change armor color: OK.
- Add lapis to gain "persuasiveness": Change that to emeralds.
HELM: Helpful addition.
LEGS: Again, helpful addition.
BOOTS: The most helpful yet.
Overall, GREAT IDEAS TO ADD! You should send these to boni, the maintainer of Tinker's Construct. I would rate 8.5/10

If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.
