I really been dreaming about a mocreatures style Dinosaur.
If you're in a Dinosaur mood, heres a list:
(The famous ones)
Deinonychus - 1. 4 block tall and is covered in feathers. Neutral. Spawns are rare in plains and taiga biomes.
Tyrannosaurus Rex - 4.5 blocks tall, has some feathers. Aggresive like the polar bear. Spawns are rare in taiga, tundra, and savannah biomes.
Apatosaurus - 4 blocks tall. Neutral. Spawns are rare in savannah biome.
Ornithomimus - 3 blocks tall. Neutral. Spawns are rare in plains. Similar to an ostrich. Has feathers.
Al dinosaurs have male/female variations. They can drop eggs. Rare spawns.
Not trying to sound rude, but aren't there already several dinosaur mods out there? Yet another would be quite redundant. Also, MoC focuses on modern animals/popular fictional animals, not so much extinct animals (yes I know mammoths, but people are currently trying to clone them). If anything, dinosaurs and other extinct animals would make for a good "extension" of MoC, but not part of the main mod.

Well yes, I do sort of agree with this, but I am not going to refuse Dinosaurs. In small parts they could be great.
Also, some of my favourite ideas on here are the fictional dinosaurs.
The Arachnoraptor - sounds awesome!
The Mushroom Dinosaur - I can already imagine a large Diplodocus with it's back covered in Mycelium and mushrooms, with it's skin being of a crimson tint. I love it!
These ideas are some of the best. I do not want to flood people suggesting fictional dinosaurs, please don't do that. The thing about these is that they are good and creative. Taking creativity away like that would be kind of sad.
You get one like you get a Nightmare, Bathorse and Grass Horse. Finally, give a grass horse an EoL and a Wind horse an EoA, and wait for a Bug Horse! Both will vanish sadly, but The Bug horse is small, and can't be ridden sadly. But kill an insect, get a new drop called [Insect] Soul. You feed one to a Bug Horse and it will get the texture of that insect! I will order the types from best to worst bugs. Bee horses will pollinate Flowers and get you honey. Roach Horses will grow bigger and so it can be ridden. Roach horses flee from any entity bigger than itself. Butterfly horses are not added becuase They are simply fairy horses. Cricket horses will make sounds at night that scare mobs. Dragonfly horses come in three colors and depend on what color dragonfly you just killed. Moth horses stay near light so it is easy to find one if you have placed or torch or any light source. Dragonfly horses Provide light for Nighttime flights so you can find what you need. Ant horses find food on the ground and keep it in a hopper if placed in its cage or near them. Maggot and Fly horses are basically useless minus fly horses can fly and maggot horses shed slimeballs.)
That is the list so far, New ideas coming commonly!

Sea Serpent?
Category: Fictional
Length: At the very least 5-7? Blocks, and only 1 block tall
Behaviour: Will attack anything in it's range (Maybe up to about 15 blocks? I'm bad at this) This includes Sharks, dolphins, and the player.
Attack: Strangling, then biting. If player is on boat, it will crush it, leaving the player to only be able to combat it while swimming.
Spawns in: Deep Ocean.
Health: As high as werewolves. I forgot how many hearts they have, but I think it's perfect for the sea serpent.
Drops: I have no ideas, but I'm going with it's scale and tongue. Also serpent meat, which if cooked can give 2 hearts, although when raw will cause food poisoning.
Been busy editing all day, making up for lost time.
Anyway, I decided to inform people about Panthers, but I should also post it as a comment. (You can find this in the New Breeds section)
We all know that the Panther is in the mod, a Panther is NOT a real creature, it is actually the black collouration of the Leopard, Jaguar or Cougar. Because the mod has Tigers, Lions and Leopards already, we'll just assume that BigCats are from the Pantherinae Subfamily. That leaves us with two options, is the Panther a Jaguar or a Leopard? Well Leopards are already in the mod, so I am going to say that the Panther is in fact a Jaguar.
I say this because Jaguars are highly requested but they are already in the mod. Even if they were added their texture would be so similar to the Cheetah that we wouldn't even know which is which.
Extra fact:
The Cheetah is the only "BigCat" from the Felinae Subfamily. I highly encourage DrZhark to make MediumCats and move the Cheetah there. Read more in the "MediumCats" section in Real Creatures
Extra Fact 2:
The Snow Leopard is the only BigCat that cannot hybredize. That being said, we would miss out on Leopons, Lipards, Leguars, Jagupards, Leogers, Tigards, Leoliguars, Leoligers, Leotigons, Lijagupards, Jagjagupards, Tijagupards, Leojagupards, Leoleguars and Leoligulors. Because of this I decided that if no leopards are going to be present, we could always just go "Whatever it's a mod, it is as real as it could be made." You can refer to my chart in the Other Suggestions section.
After doing my research and looking for a Mythological Water Creature with varied personalities yielded no results, I decided I would do Polls based off my own interest.
Now I am not being selfish, I will be listing EVERY CREATURE, then by the end of it I will take the winners of those polls, and the winner of that poll and so on until there is only one creature left.
The first 4 will be Real, the last 4 will be Fictional.
I will be selecting the creatures at random so you won't be getting things like the first 3 of each type, it will be randomised legitimately with this site: http://jklp.org/public/html/choose.html
I feel like this is for the best. As will all things this might need improvement down the track, but let's see how it goes.
I know because of my inactivity frequenters have dropped from ~50/week back down to maybe ~10/week. But I will get it back up there.
Polls will now be 2 weeks in length every second Saturday, but this one will start today.
I like to see giant caterpillars they don't do much the can be farm animals the spawn on giant leaves which can generate around the world the caterpillars can be killed to food and unfortunately this big critters get hunted by almost any hostile mob.
I was wondering why so many people voted for the necromancer, but then I realised that it is a mob that can't hurt you, but spawns things to hurt you. This is 100% what a new mob should be, because of it's attack style.
Zombie = Melee
Skeleton = Range
Necromancer = Summoner
Now all we need is a mob that buffs enemies and we would have a sort of teamed enemies.
Hey, I have a non-mob suggestion! I'm working on an Adventure map that uses Mo'creatures, and I'd really like to have Piranhas and/or Sharks constantly spawning in specific areas. For example, one lake or one part of the coastline. Naturally spawned ocean mobs tend to wander off/despawn after a while, so it kinda takes away from the danger factor. My attempts to use a vanilla monster spawner through command blocks haven't worked out. I've tried asking people on other Mo'creatures forums if its even possible, but no one seems to have an answer.
I've seen other custom mob mods, like Pixelmon, use custom monster spawners specifically made for the mod. Do you think it would be possible to add a similar Mo'Creatures Spawner?
Or if anyone knows how to do it with vanilla spawners, please message me!

Did you use command blocks to override the spawner? Don't do that. Get an inventory thing, like Too Many Items (I don't know if Not Enough Items works for this). There should be a Shark Spawner and/or Piranha spawner in the list.
Feel free to PM me if this doesn't solve your issue.
If I cannot solve your issue, I suggest posting to the main thread.
Here are some ideas (Also, it should be noted that I don't own any of the images that I use):
Super Shark
Alignment: Hostile
Health: 80
Damage: 3.5 hearts to an unarmored player
Biome: Deep Ocean
Drops: Shark teeth, Fish, Super Shark Statue (Rare drop; a small model of the creature that you can place as a trophy), Super Shark Egg (Can be hatched to produce a tamed super shark)
Info: A massive shark with pterosaur-like wings, this deadly predator launches itself out of the water to soar through the air, biting with its powerful jaws and creating huge gusts of wind with its wings. After hatching its egg, you can ride your new super shark through the sky and the water: as it swims, it gives its rider water breathing and night vision that lasts for as long as the player is riding it.
Victorian Megalosaurus
Alignment: Neutral
Health: 80
Damage: 5 hearts
Biome: Swamp, Jungle
Drops: Dinosaur Teeth (Can be used as shark teeth or can be used to make a Dino-Tooth Dagger, which does 5 damage and has the durability of an iron sword), Reptile Hide, Megalosaurus Head, and Megalosaurus Egg (Can be used to hatch a tamed, rideable Megalosaurus)
Info: This massive lizard-like beast acts like a super sized combination of komodo dragon and crocodile-most of the time, it's passive, but if you get too close, it will start tearing you apart with its deadly jaws and powerful claws. As a mount, it's pretty slow, but its power more than makes up for that.

I am so sorry for being super inactive. Unfortunately I can not be any more active than I am now.
I can only access the Internet once every two weeks.
Your suggestions are all important to me (As you all know my opinion matters little for DrZhark but I still value your contributions).
@cyblog
Would you please add more detail, 3-6 words is very little and would just be a generic mob.
@cysiek
Good, very good. Will add them soon, just after I catch up on the things I have missed
@DrakeTheWarrior
More detail is always great!

Finally had the time to add them. I should be able to resume the poll.
Poll will end Thursday at 4PM AEST.

Sadly I will have to develop a system to remove some of the creatures.
The forum has a 120000 or 1200000 character limit, and I am very close to that border.
Official Mo' Creatures Suggestion Thread
I need to remove creatures. Help decide how by answering in the poll.
If anyone had any objections, please comment here and offer an alternative.
Official Mo' Creatures Suggestion Thread
By vote, I have removed every creature without a description + Mo' Creatures Wiki Extracts.
This brings good and bad news.
As most people allow you to choose which to read first, as a joke they will be in spoilers.
The only creature that survived without a description was the Archnoraptor, I could not allow myself to delete such an amazing original suggestion.
Good News
Lots and lots more space. Submit every idea that flows into that mind of yours!
Bad News
We have unfortunately lost many ideas in the process. The page will need to be rebuilt but this is the cost for a fresh start.
