IF YOU WANT A VIDEO OF THIS BUG YOU CAN MAKE A REQUEST, ALL I NEED IS ONE.
Though, I'm not certain because it also looks as if it could be apart of a mod I have installed...
To the makers of these mods, please don't be mad at me for mentioning your works; which all belong to whoever worked so hard to create them, thanks for such wonderful game enhancing endeavors!
(These screenshots are out of order as you might be able to tell by the time stamp on some of them because I missed the first occurrence of the nightmarish pinpoint black hole.)
So I downloaded the wonderful Level Up! mod by Remalis because it was the right thing to do, and after a long while playing with it, decided to add it into my mods list along with some mods that I think may be accomplices in the creation of this horrific ordeal.
The second mod I feel that might have something to do with this is Psychedelicraft by Ivorius because of it's shaders and hallucinogenic effects. (Love this mod!)
The third mod I think might have a final say so is Smart Moving by Divisor which allows you to quickly fly over and traverse land in ways that you never could before.
Seven of the other mods that are noticeable but might not have anything to do with the problem are Enviromine, BetterFoliage, Peacefulpack, DrZharks Mo' Creatures, Biomes O' Plenty, Mine & Blade: Battlegear 2 and Journey Map, which are also great additions to your modded gameplay.
If you notice your mod in the screenshots, please tell me so I can add it to the list!
This "bug" if you or I can call it that is NOT a game breaker! I think it is my computer not handling a certain shader very well but it's an interesting result nonetheless!
Now, take this journey with me...
First I granted myself over 10000 XP via commands, so that I could experiment with the Level Up! GUI and see what giving myself full skills would do, but once I had completed the task, (it took awhile) I noticed that two of the skills stuck out right off the bat. Those skills were Athletics and Sneaking.
I could run extremely fast!
Quicker than I'm sure even any of the mod designers had planned for!
The screenshots do not give proper credit! I was going at least 70 miles per hour.
Running through complete large biomes in a matter of seconds! Insanity!
I could fly even faster!
- BUT THEN -
I saw it... (These screenshots are from my second experience after I went through the thing once, I went back and found it in the exact same location!)
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT!?
I decide to get a close look...
WHAT IS HAPPENING!?
MY GUI STILL WORKS!? (The rest of these screenshots are from my first experience.)
I have never experienced anything this scary in Minecraft before.
The text started to clear up to reveal landscape around me and I noticed that the Farming skill was out of control.
The scariest thing about it though is how everything went right back to normal... please help me here. Am I missing something?
Does somebody know a reason for this that I don't?
When I created another world, midway through the ASCII nightmare that world was FINE, picture perfect, no lag or anything; all it had to say that way any different was that Journey Map had announced that Minecraft was running out of memory.
Does somebody know a reason for this that I don't?
Yes, this is an intended feature. Reading this makes me think it did exactly what I wanted it to, lol.
Anyway, if you don't like it, you can always turn it off in the mod config.
No, this was great, thank you though for clearing things up! I enjoyed it a lot hahaha, I thought I ripped some kind of Minecraft hole into the space time continuum.
