You can't make money from ads if the ads doesn't show up because of someone using Adblock!
Besides, if you just download mods from these sites, then you're obviously giving them the right idea that it is the right thing to do, and are taking the credit away from the owners of the mods that put all their hard work into making the mod in the first place!

Ugh, I know that this is a thread about sites relisting people's mods, but what if I told you I found a site that is relisting people's maps?
I went through Google to see all these sites that have relisted my Texture Pack, and boom, found a site that has relisted a build of mine! As well as resource packs and mods

People would if they could but those sites just ignore them best thing to do is educate people about this and send this to google to have them take all those sites from the search listings same for other search engines
Isn't minecraftsix known to be a bad site? I've always ask my friends to downloads mods from their official site (minecrafforum or other official mod website). I've seen the rating on WOT and its rated safe, I'm still not trusting those kind of sites.

MagicLauncher is the best launcher I ever used! Hoping the developer would update for 1.13.x and 1.14.x

If it's on the list, it is. I seem to remember it being a bad one.

I would do something about it, problem is, when you report the site or something, it gets ignored, so it may just help to post those sites to be added to the list for people to see.
So far I've looked at three mods they have hosted, googled them and looked for a licence, I didn't see any listed for them. Nor did I see anything stating that they couldn't be re-posted. I left a comment on one of the mod author's forum threads, asking what licence he listed his mod under.
Edit: ahahahaha, I found something of importance. Link They re-posted the Werian resource pack. (Quote from the author) "- Do not distribute my pack or textures and/or claim them as your own."

I've looked at several mods and resource packs at minecraftsix, but it seems like they don't host the files themselves - they link to planetminecraft, mediafire, curse/curseforge, etc. for the actual downloads.

I noticed that as well, but it doesn't make things much different. They re-posted a resource pack when the author of it clearly said not to.
Also, about that resource pack minecraftsix reposted. They didn't link to the creators pmc page, they linked to a jenkins page.
Oh, I find it contradicting with MinecraftSix. In the end, it is just one extra site on the net that likes to re-post people's work...
When I first uploaded my Texture Pack to PMC, within a few days of it being uploaded, it was posted up on MinecraftSix. And I thought "Do not Redistribute" also means re-posting it...
And I find all the credit for my work taken away when not only it is on all these thousands of sites, but when people also download from these sites.
I checked the list and didn't see these websites listed, so here they are:
zinchat(dot)com
87at3mn(dot)brasai(dot)tech
Edit: removed one because it was apparently on the list already.
Edit#2: Found another site or two: mc-vn(dot)net , mc-mod(dot)net , minecraftmods19(dot)com , apkapkapk(dot)me ,minecraftmodstotal(dot)blogspot(dot)com , www(dot)apkmonk(dot)com , forum(dot)cacaoweb(dot)org , wugfau(dot)deaftone(dot)com , dhrxfk(dot)deaftone(dot)com , wp(dot)lashesbyalexis(dot)com. There are plenty more but I'm not willing to take the time to post them here this late at night.

I don't know where there's a precise definition of what constitutes re-posting, but I guess having a full description page with re-used images counts, even if the original author is credited and the links point to the original download site.

Wait, are you still talking about Werian? Where are you seeing a link to a Jenkins page for that? It's a link to the Curse download. I checked the page source, and there are no Jenkins links to be found on the minecraftsix page for the Werian resource pack.

Heh, must've been something else I found on there then. But that still doesn't change the fact that even if they did what they did "legally", the author of that pack said not to. Personally, I would consider a whole page on a random website re-posting (if it were an actual post and not someone just talking about the said mod/resource pack).
There was something else though, aside from that resource pack. I asked the author of the Pixelmon Armors Mod what licence he listed his mod under.
He said there wasn't one. Minecraftsix re-posted his mod and gave proper credit, however, I still don't trust them. I even asked the author something along the lines of this: "So you're saying that you allow other websites to bundle your mod with malware, put it behind adf.ly links, and make money off of it?". While minecraftsix doesn't appear to be doing that, what's to say some other website wont in the future.
Edit: I have a question for you all. What mod(s) clearly disallow you to repost them. Because half of the other mods I've found on Minecraftsix seem "legal" which is what annoys me even more than how they act.
Cool!
They usually put the author...

Wrong
How about giving an explanation instead of just a one-word response?
