Got the same problem, minecraft 1.8 with modloader works with zan's minimap, minecraft 1.8 works with non-forge too many items, can't get them both working together, can't find non-forge zan's minimap or forge too many items
Err where'd you find ModLoader? ML has been dead since 1.6.2, so shouldn't work with 1.6.4 or above.

I don't mind the name of it, if minimap is a mod and liteloader loads this thing, for me it is a modloader
U r going off top now...
ModLoader is the name of a mod loader, in all honesty, AFAIK it is the very first mod loader to actually hit the community in such a way that it stuck.
ForgeModLoader is another mod loader, completely different to ML. ML did not natively support multiplayer (although it's different to LiteLoader, I'll explain later), FML does natively support both singleplayer AND multiplayer, mods automatically are universal and the same file can be used for both client and server, this is the first mod loader to allow this ability.
LiteLoader is another mod loader, completely different to both ML and FML. LiteLoader is a loader primarily used for client-only mods, minimap mods, pure graphical mods, etc. It does not support multiplayer at all, which is different to ML.
ModLoaderMP came along, it can be classed as a different mod loader, but technically is an expansion and modification to ML. MLMP's concept was to provide a multiplayer framework for mods to use, however it did things in a not-so-smooth way. A lot of things were broken, which lead to quite a lot of mods refusing to work with MLMP. MLMP also required a mod to be rewritten to work for the server, you could not load a client-only mod on the server, it would crash.
LiteLoader is not ModLoader, nor is it the same as ModLoader. But yes, we are going off topic now.

I have been experiencing the same here and haven't had much time to experiment. I wonder if it has to do with the configuration settings for Liteloader since it has Realms settings for the micro updates?
TMI isn't outdated and functions with 1.8. Using TMI is just a personal preference and no better or worse than NEI. It can be found here:
I have the same problem. Also if I installed only liteloader en use the liteloader version for installing XRay it doesn't see xray. No xray version with liteloader was created and no profile in the launcher.
{EDIT] I fixed the problem. I have now Mc running with XRay, voxelmap, optifine and TMI
What I did:
Install XRay first with optifine and TMI
Install Liteloader with profile 1.8-XRay
Edit the last line in the .json in versions\1.8-LiteLoader1.8-1.8-XRay:
"jar": "1.8" --> "jar": "1.8-XRay"
That did the job for me.
This is actually want my last line looks like now:
"minimumLauncherVersion": 16,
"inheritsFrom": "1.8-XRay",
"jar": "1.8-XRay"
You should not play MC 1.8 without Forge,but if you sill want to i recommend 1.7.10 for these mods .Still you whould not have the features of 1.8 but if you really want those mods then do it . 1.8 Forge will no appear any time soon .
FML is out for 1.8 in alpha builds, so a lot of mods can start updating, but mostly no large ones yet. Please do note, FML != Forge.

Indeed; and with those of us using mods for 1.8 already we are able to give feedback to modders that are reworking their mods for 1.8. It'll just be that much easier for them to release Forge versions later with minimal bumps for those that waited for Forge.
Anyone can give some directions? I have installed separately TMI and Minimap but I cannot do it together. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

That's not ModLoader. That's LiteLoader. LiteLoader is a loader designed for client-sided-only mods, like minimap mods or xray mods.
Under your logic, Forge can be considered ModLoader, which it isn't.

Liteloader is for very small mods commonly HUD mods like minimaps.
TMI would not work with liteloader as it is much to complicated.
2. TMI is outdated from what I know. Last i saw it was for 1.6.4.
I strongly recommend NEI which isn't for 1.8 but is for 1.7.10
1.8 mods are going to have to wait.
Sorry.
3. You are using 1.8 most mods are not made for 1.8 yet including Forge Mod Loader
