Easy way to empty buckets

I am playing with many tech mods, including IC2, buildcraft, and thermal expansion. Anybody know an easy way to empty water buckets?

For context I am using minechem to create iron, but it creates water buckets I have to empty first.

I ended up using a cyclic assembler to make some sort of water in a wood bucket, it left the iron bucket and I just voided the crafted items.
