I'm pretty new to mods in general, and I was wondering if there's a way beyond observation of the game to tell if certain Vanilla aspects of the game are working as they're supposed to be when mods are loaded. With monster spawning and ore generation, it's easier to test whether something has gone wonky(that isn't supposed to go wonky under modded conditions), but I'm not really sure how weather generates.
I know the Vanilla code disables rain in certain biomes, but if it doesn't rain for a long time on a beach biome that previously had rain, is there a way to tell if one of the mods I installed has somehow disabled normal weather unintentionally? Will it also malfunction if I try to activate it with /toggle downfall?
